Hello all, im currently building a berg cup mk1 golf: anyways, i currently have a g40 lysholm charged at about 170 bhp and hope to pull a few more ponies out! however i have found aveeeerryy nice turbo conversion for sale and i know i can get kits to convert the mk1 to vr6, and should see 350 bhp if not more with few tweeks, i would get a vr6 conversion kit from eurowise which will make it near bolt in, then up-rated drivetrain pack etc which will mean the engine/transmission/drivetrain will cope with power only issue i can think off is will the chassis be okay with that sort of powe

So ive no been on here for a couple of years after my Vr6 got wrote of by a granny! But i back no with big plans! Thought I would start a new topic about my Mk1 I got it about 9 months ago and stripped and rebuilt the engine with a 2.0 bottom end Just when i was planning to get the car back on the road i went and got a Vr6 high line really cheap so have decided to put it in the Mk1 Got the engine out of the Mk1 this weekend and have ordered the Mk1 Vr6 conversion kit from eurowise So going to get the Vr6 lump out next weekend and let the fun begin

Yeah I think buying the golf has made me realise that it's pretty much impossible to do anything original with a golf, so you're better off just doing what you like and if anyone else likes it, it's a bonus! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Spent all day fitting the loom 2day figuring out what I need and don't need fucking nitemare I hate wiring But on the plus side i found a radiator that fits Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

Managed to get another hour on it today ,,got all the looms in now and with glove fingers shoved in pipes to block vacume hoses it fired up instantly! Happy Happy boy!!!! Lots to do still but just makes me want to get it finnished ASAP now..

The kit comes with all the engine mounts and drive shafts looks a good bit of kit as well I'm getting back on it now just got back off hoilday so need to crack on with it will post up some pics over the weekend should have the engine in by Saturday I reckon
