I would recommend not removing the stock oil/water 'cooler' We sell a tube that allows you to fit the stock 'cooler' along with a sandwich plate. This way it is not possible for the oil to be cooled below the factory specifications and it allows the water to be heated by the oil during the warm up of the engine.

Any reason why I cannot used a set of HT leads from my 4motion engine on my Vr6 turbo motor. They are so much easier to work with as they have the handle to pull

Hi, just had Dave's shift installed today and can't fault it! Top to bottom (3-4) is about 4.5 inches, slightly more effort as the pivot point has been raised. Install time about an hour, mostly trim removal and refit and a tiny bit of cutting. The result is a lot less slop (I also installed these a few months ago http://www.verdictmotorsports.com/VW_Audi_Shift_Bracket_Bushings_p/0100.htm which made a little difference, but this is another level!) He is making me a bespoke turbo back exhaust for my MK 4, next week we will make a cat back, also a de cat pipe and then, when we fit the turbo he will make the down pipe. All stainless and hand made for very reasonable price comparable with a milltek or similar.

Now you need to work out which pulley it was, my money is on the tensioner.
