A properly skimmed head and decked block. With New bolts and gasket will seal correctly if fitted correctly. No need for any kind of sealant. Sent from Dagobah1 point -

Thanks Pete, still so much to do though (especially after looking at your engine bay!) It's about to enter its 7th week at Stealth, I'll try and hold out before revealing it but I'm pretty sure you can guess! I've been told that it'll be ready either just before or just after Xmas. Fingers crossed it is before so that I can enjoy it during my time off work1 point

I have a turbo off ebay and it is very well finished and compared to other high end turbos feels, looks and measures up to be a good comparison. My car is not a daily drive but when I get around to fitting I will report back on how good/bad it really is.1 point -
I'm still on the lookout for a Sharan 24V V6, Pete. Few and far between unfortunately. Too high miles and too high priced. I'm holding out for a syncro Sharan V6 anyway.1 point
