Awesome ! Glad you found one ! I did look for some time as I wanted to polish it up, like the cage and the rear brace I have, but gave up after searching for quite a while. As for my car.... If I didn't have an itch to scratch for an Rs6, I would certainly be keeping it, but car needs to go in order to partially fund the RS, plus a lack of space doesn't help either. Already having 4 cars, I really need to get rid of one and it makes sense for it to be the one used the less :-(

These things are as rare as hens teeth ! You will be very lucky to find one. I wish you luck ! I do have a carbon fibre one if you wanted something else. Cost a small fortune and never fitted to the car in the end Haha, and since the car is for sale, I doubt I will have much need for it :-(

Still here ! Set of these wheels on eBay now for nearly £4k ! And not in anywhere near this condition. Shows how much the wheels alone are worth ! Needs to go fairly soon. Eyes are already on a new car. Someone give it a nice home :-(

Nope, no rear seats matching sadly. Although I do have a full black Highline interior in the garage if you wanted tom put that in and sell the one that's in it. But would be sad to pull it apart...... Plate has nothing to do with Jake either. He does have similar plates though for his Turbo. H20 VRT I think ? It's basically H20 for water, meaning water cooled. And VR speaks for itself. Nothing to do with his pool business

I have certainly thought about many things to replace it. R32 etc..... Whatever I do decide it will certainly be more practical ! Would love for the car to stay in the club and start winning shows again. That's what it was built for. Bodywork and paint alone runs into the tens of thousands. Only thing it's really missing is a smoothed bay and a charger ! Car will also come with an entire interior plastics set. Me to. My plan was to see so many shows this year and yet I have not been to a single one. Due to work or family or weather etc.... I don't get to enjoy it like I used to, so it's about time to let someone else enjoy it.

Since I don't get the time to drive this anymore and the fact that it sits in my garage for 99% of it's life, I honestly think it's time to let it go and to let someone else enjoy it. Seems such a huge shame to have it tucked away. The car is a 1997 MK3 Golf VR6. Mileage is around 84-85k off the top of my head. I forget as I don't drive it often. Body Mods. Overall I think it's a good thing. The EU is not needed anymore. Being set up after a war it had it's place. It's grown so far out of control now it's nothing more than a joke.

Really not to sure.... I think £7.5 would be what I would be after. That would not include the wheels though. I'm just so unsure what to do. Even though I don't use it, it would be hard to let go. But then if it's not used...... What is the point in having it ?

This really has been on my mind for quite some time now. Basically I am unsure if I should keep my VR or look into putting it up for sale. My main reason is the fact that it sits in my garage for 99% of it's life. I just never get the chance to use it these days. Due to my job and working Saturdays it seems I am never really able to make it to shows anymore. Anything that comes up on a Sunday so far seems to be plagued by poor weather. Due to the extent of the mods, it's not a car that I can simply drive around to most places, I can't leave it anywhere or pa

Finally got around to fitting a new battery today, fired up first time ! Makes me realise how much I miss it when it's tucked away over winter :-(

The VR has been tucked away for a while now. I have had the battery connected to a constant trickle. Last week I went into the garage but the battery was totally flat.... Strange I thought ? Charger must be dead. Bought another one. Connected today.... Nothing. Not even a spark from the terminals ! Is it possible that the battery has been killed by being on trickle charge ? I was suprised to not even see a spark from a terminal ? And when connected no odometer readings popped onto the dash, immobiliser light didn't come on..... So nothing was getting through at all.
