  3. is your engine definitly obd1 mate? sorry to ask the stupid question. have you looked at my fusebox data on the electrical thread? may help you out!
  4. also, depending on how this goes. im sure caddyslammed will let me make one up, and then make a jig so i can make and post them to people
  5. i want snow . and to the readings from the throttle body. sounds like the body itsself is playing up
  6. yet again you never cease to amaze me. ive sin some mental fabricating but your taking it to a whole new level. absolutely mental mate. would love to play a part in this. i dont mind travelling
  7. for those close enough, i.e caddyslammed. i can make a straight through pipe to delete the rear box. BUT i advise against this as it makes the car sound awful, the best way to gain more noise is to loose the middle box. OR put a smaller round box at the rear, with no box the pipe will resonate and make it sound like it belongs on the banger track. speaking from experience on this one!

  9. What was the exact fault code? As it might be the sensor not the ring
  10. As above check the level, if that is okay then for time being you can bypass the warning light by joining the pins in the plug together .
  11. The bolts will come undone, just make sure you use a 6 sided hex socket.
  12. If its a late gti then it will have 288mm brakes so yea you can use a gti caliper
  13. If you get stuck let me know, i have a set
  14. If its running for one second then cutting out. Sounds like immobiliser fault. Try get it on vagcom and look for the fault " engine start blocked by immobiliser"
  15. OEM+ all day long.bang tidy mk3 mate. love it
  16. boosty boosty ! looking very good mate, keep it up!
  17. did you manage to solve the throttle reading? wander if it may be something to do with the throttle body itself if its obd2.looking good so far
  18. looking good mate.hero effort on the mounting of the clocks! if you need any of the wiring looms/plugs let me know. and also if you get stuck with the wiring keep up the build thread.we loves it
  19. sounds like they havent swapped the abs rings on the back of the discs properly, just take it back to the garage, after all, thats what you paid for !
  20. it shouldnt make a difference as the indicators are in the pads mate, and when you change them aslong as the resevoir doesnt completely empty then you can just bleed the fronts
  21. if you havent done this yet, undo the bleed nipple and use a big pair of grips, a g clamp may punch a hole through the back of the piston , or at best it might crack it.
  22. Thanks mate long story short, ive worked as a structural fabricator for oxford fabrication, a garage mechanic:diagnostic technician for summertown garage kidlington. The youngest roadside patrol for the AA. A fabricator and auto electrician for gama motorsport, a fabricator / mechanic for longlife exhausts . And a mechanic/ vag technician for the other half of the longlife garage, autotechnics oxford. And now im a mobile mechanic/fabricator and auto electrician. So basically everything that involves cars and welding!
