  1. nicely done mate! proper little corner weapon, with the wind in your hair too!
  2. split the live/earth feeds from standard coil pack, then use the 3 remaining cables to fire the 3 seperate coils. wasted spark set up
  3. system is over pressurising, one make sure the thermostat isnt stuck shut. other causes are headgasket, i.e exhaust gasses pressurising the cooling system.
  4. right the front of the fusebox looks fine to me . the connectors in the pictures, the first picture (red connector .Black/red wire) im sure is the radio feed that goes dead when you pull the key out, the next one im not 100% sure about, the next one (green connector, black/white wire) goes to the green connector block that sits behind the drivers side vent. the next 2 connectors , grey /brown. im sure they are left disconnected. the next one i am unsure of, the black connector below LOOKs like the wire colours for the washer jets.the next few connectors im sure there are plugs for them behind

  7. when you say you connected them wrong, are you saying that you put the postive terminal on the earth ? if so, you may have fried something.

  11. im sure i missed something at the start of the thread, one minute it was black.then it was white! aha! read through the rest of though, well impressed with the work thats gone into it mate, do you find the handling any different being a cab ?

  14. so as some of you have seen my golf build up thread, i thought you might like to know what i drove behand, which i SOLD to buy the golf .so be happy! i brought a 1995 3 door metallic grey land rover discovery,blew the engine up, put a new one in . then i got bored. so i did this . i think you can see where this is going LITTLE LANDY!!!!! Everything on this car, i did myself, rewelded the entire chassis, made every panel ,the bumpers etc etc. the only thing i had a little help with was welding the alloy body back together. more pictures.... the camera doesnt do it justice in thes

  17. the single connectors that are not plugged into the fusebox will be colour coded and each plug will only fit with its other half, as they have different cutouts and slots

  20. disconnect the drivers side headlight, see if the rear still lights up, if it doesnt, then youve got a short inside the headlight, if it does then your problem lies either at the main lighting loom connector thats clipped the the scuttle panel , or on the back of the fusebox.
  21. as bungy said, if youve got a friend, then just use pipe and a bottle so you dont make a mess. from experience, those easy bleed kits are a PITA for doing clutches

  23. yes if you dont need the air con feed you can cap it off bud.
