Shouldn't do. You will get a higher flow with a 4 bar. So with cams and re-map should work well. Maybe a decent panel air filter. Main thing is re-map to set it all up correctly. Early spec corrado VR6 came with 4 bar fuel set up from factory, later spec all came with 3 bar. So VR6 fuelling system will run fine at 4 bars all day long

I don't see stretch as that much of a problem my self. People go on about cornering and stuff with them, and the bead popping. I know people who have had this happen on normal tyres as well. So it just down to how the tyre is fitted. I admit stretch is harder to fit, so needs more attention to get it right. Plus look at jap drift cars, some of them run mental stretch, and they put huge amount of stress on the tyres when cornering. I run 185 35 17 on my summers atm, they are tiny. And I have 195 40 17 on my winter wheels. Summers will be going back on to 195 40 17 soon, and the 185 already

Very nice buddy. Looks like you have put quite abit of effort in to it. Is that your private plate in the last pic? Or just a show plate. I think it wicked either way

While researching Z-engineering supercharger i found very little information on these chargers, and alot of people saying you can't get parts for them any more. Z-engineering have been taken over by RUF and are not the most hopefully company, their Swedish, and speak limited English. But I found once taking the chargers apart some parts did have some kind of marking or model number on them. They were just sneaky when putting them together, and would put the bearing marking facing inwards so you can't see them until removed. Then measuring parts, researching more, looki

Corrado vr6 air box , because it thinner than a mk3 air box. Mk3 air boxes are to wide.

Cheers buddy I will do, I'm thinking more of the 323mm Leon ones anyway. It's just finding them in budget lol I'll keep my eyes open.

Brilliant bit of info! I'm going to be doing this soon as well! Cheers buddy. Heaveily cover it copper spray? Or just a nice light mist? -
Little bit of info on spark knock http://www.onestopauto.com/What-causes-spark-knock.html

What other stuff are you running along side the SC? As knock sensor fault usally come from the engine running to hot , causing it to have spark knock. Are you running normal compression? This is quite a common issue with force induction and standard compression. Also I would run atleast a 16row oil cooler. Low temp thermostat. New rad, check water pump and replace if needed. All to help lower engine temp. Best thing to do is run a de-compression plate. To correct compression with the SC. Water and methanol can also work very well , as it can greatly reduce intake temperature. Cover t

Yeah either 323mm from Leon. Or 966 rears on 312mm on front they have bigger pistons that the boxster. Leaning more towards the 323mm.

Cheers buddy, There's still more I have done, so will get that uploaded soon. I want to full braid my fuelling system in the not to distant future. Plus bermbo's upgrade on brakes with braided lines. Also toying with the idea of building a water and methanol injection setup.

Starter motor and counter weight re-fitted. More test fitting the charger. Made up a few mock pipes.

Oil catch tank installed on bulk head, just need to finish the piping. as I'm hiding as much of it as I can. New front engine mount and old engine mount. I've heard a few people say these mount are very harsh, i'm going to try a few different types of bushes on top of the mount before I disregard it. as the other option of a vibratech mount is kinda over budget for a front mount. Started off with a hockey puck, I've also got a few different things to try on the mount when road testing it soon. Painted the gear box mount, and re-painted the gearbox counter weight, one

Looks very nice dude! More pics, more pics

Yeah they do come with fittings, Only a spacer for each side, And a nut for each side. I don't have a pic sorry mate, I can try and get one later, but it may be in the dark as I don't get home from work untill about 6.30pm.
-
The shaft needs to sit inside the circular bush, The better the fit, the better the bush will work, It also means they give the right size washer / spacer. And the nuts fit and are right size. So few reasons to measure it. Most coilover shaft are M14.

You can get 12v stable 3mm LEDs without a resistor, I used them in mine. No resistor at all. There 12v stable. Just need to look on the net for them. Places like maplins or rs components don't sell them.
-
I got my dibed top mounts from eBay. Yeah there the same for all mk3's. But they make 2 different type threads for use of different suspension struts. M12 or M14. So you need to measure the thread on the top of your front suspension 1st.

Weekend toy, yeah it is stiff. It was meant to be a daily, But turned in to a weekend toy as more and more got done to it . It's also on air ride, so I don't have to roll low on bumpy roads, I can lift it up to make the ride quailty much better and lower it back down on nicer roads. But my air ride is as near to track spec air ride as you could make, runs all AN approved fittings, full braided lines. 8way manifold, so no bag transfer. All have adjustable damper settings. it courners so much better, and I can slam it in and out of gears as quick as I can. Short shift will be being made

Few new mounts waiting to be fitted. Solid alloy front engine mount, Vibratech gearbox mount. Extra gearbox brace, Solid alloy gear box linkage mounts, Solid alloy camber adjustable front suspension mounts. Still need Vibratech rear engine mount.
-
Sounds like a brilliant set up! Yeah I think I might fully seam weld the whole subframe then. I just bought a soild alloy front mont for mk3, and hockey pucked it. I had pucks on my standard mounts for years, and on my GTi's before VR, so they work brilliant on the front mount. Not so great on gear box mount I found. Why I now have a vibratech one. Still need to get vibratech rear engine mount. Already have extra gearbox brace from Corrado, soild alloy gearbox relay, soild alloy gear box mounts that hold the shifter linkage. Soild alloy camber adjustable front suspension mounts. Front end
