  1. VR6 conversion

W T A F! then again my storage is a unit / Garage but no ramps or lifts or nothing. so £360 a month you see why I was looking at paying someone to do it for me hahaha
  2. VR6 conversion

don't do it man! lol. 66k is amazing! I think I need this sorted before kids come along. £360pm on storage costs is fecking ridiculous
  3. VR6 conversion

I can do it all apart from the looms. it's just finding the time [emoji20] do miss my baby however lol
  4. VR6 conversion

That's true. the engine at present is in bits. as I got the head skimmed and block cleaned and tested. Only problem I have is being a relative distance away from the motor where it is in storage. this should have been completed 2015 lol what a dilemma haha
  5. VR6 conversion

Hi all, Can anyone recommend places to do a conversion? My GTi to VR6 has been a project for about 6 years now and I'm spunking money on storage costs and nothing is getting done. I just don't have the time to meticulously do it myself which is gutting. So I have a complete VR6 as a donor. all new engine internals etc. All to go into a K reg GTi. All help is most appreciated. cheers all

  8. long time no see

Hi all. Hope everyone is well? Its been a damn long time since i last checked in. So, some updates. Vr conversion is still ongoing. Havent had much time to lool at her in just over a year. New job, life and various other commitments keep getting in the way. So im really struggling to get time to finish this and it has officially bled me dry. Im asking the group as a whole if anyone has any time they can donate to help give me a hand? Engine still needs building. Engine bay needs sorting. Brakes need changing. And all electricals. As far as i can remember thats it. I really dont want to send the old girl and the donor off to a garage for them to do it. Plus i dont give up at anything lol. So if anyone can spare some time maybe? Lives around essex kent east london (car is in essex) it would be most appreciated. And ill see what i can do in form of beer tokens lol Cheers boys and girls

  10. Engine Cleaning

It's cool. The red is from Halfords vht paint. And the white I got off of Amazon as well as the lacquer. Both made by hycote. Reasonably priced on there too Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
