Ah sounds like your doing a solid build mate, should be good. you might want to look into having a power cap in there, to take most of the strain off the battery, most of all on startup.

Looks good mate, any details on the subs and amp? what plans do you have to power it? (And keep it powered ) I do a fair bit of audio work so if you need a pointer i might be able to help keep it up mate

measure the resistance across the airbag pins and try that?

depending on how old the bonnet latch is, you might be able to get your hands under the bonnet and give it a sharp tug upward and that will undo the latch. or try to get a screw driver around the locking mechanism. hope that helps

i saw some in an ad in a car magazine, mainly used for classic cars e.t.c. but they have like a soft furry interior to protect paint and chrome. ill. try to dig out the ad for you mate

Hi guys, This is basically me at my wits end pleading for some help with engine wiring. I am currently halfway through attempting to wire my loom to my car, and failing miserably! Half of the problem is most of the loom is butchered up becuase it came from a scrap yard, and secondly because I dont really know where to start! So I was wondering if anyone has the bently maunal for a 1997 golf / vento and would possibly do me a massive favour and scan a few pages for me of any wiring diagrams there are in there. Money is a bit tight for me at the minute otherwise I would just buy the book myself.

Thanks michael5556, I just rang up VW now and they can order them in for tomorrow for about £1.30 all together, thanks though all the same. I didnt need the reg for the car, i just gave them the year and model, described what i was after and sorted it out for me, cant complain with that! Cheers for the help guys
