  1. Ohh this is where my shocking taste in music comes out.. but I think I'll keep most of it secret! Fundamentally I like metal and rock, but dabble in old school hip hop and drum & bass..

    "Sharon! You've F**king taken my f**king hair!"
  3. Ah yes, would've thought I'd seen that!
  4. Here's my input: 1) Are we doing anything wrong? Not that i'm aware of! 2) What is preventing you from contributing to the forum? Lack of knowledge I suppose! 3) What is preventing you from attending our events? Like most people i suppose, lack of money and time! I was really up for going to the RR, but typically work crept back in, Looking forward to another national meet if its going to happen this year!? 4) How are you making the most of being part of a Club? Im on it at least once a day, just keeping up with the news, and trying to help out where I can!
  5. Could well be, I have heard when oil pressure starts to drop then cylinder 1 is the first to stop getting oil, due to the way the head is angled.
  6. Whats the oil quality like? last time it was changed? the filter too. As pete says I would drop the oil and have a look at the bottom end. Might be worth having a look at the chain tensioners too, not the stereotypical sound that chains make but you never know.

    Fuel Rail?

That won't fit a VR, but why would you want to? The standard VR6 fuel rail is ideal for adequate for any application.
  8. If you are a club member it will have a spanner next to your profile picture
  9. Looks like it was a good day, really annoyed I couldn't make it. I assume no one got food poisoning from the BBQ then!?
  10. Nah, To be honest by the sounds of the work needing done to it, I would've expected more.
  11. I wouldnt tighten the head bolts anymore, your given the exact torque sequence for a reason. Might be worth trying some steel seal in there or rad weld e.t c?
  12. Probably an austin mini just for the laugh or possibly abf 'Raddo
  13. Check this out: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Parking-Ticket-which-I-cannot-afford-/261226091057?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item3cd249d231 Cant believe its now at £72, I know what im doing when I next get one!
  14. Least you didn't weld a spanner to the batteries, usually what i end up doing!Glad its sorted now for you
  15. They do sit very close to the ring, have you got any pics? but as calico says once its bolted down it wont be going anywhere.
  16. I'd certainly loom at that, because if it does start cutting out for longer the steering lock could come on..
  17. It depends on how bad they are. I've never had to replace the bolts, but if yours are rusted then might be worth while. Could you not just look on ebay for the same sized bolt? Got to be cheaper then a tenner each! You could use rtv sealant on the head face, would stop it leaking in the future. But if you just clean up the mating faces it shouldnt be too much of an issue.
  18. Does this mean your ok to pick up that head matey?
