Yeah the maf can be placed before turbo inlet but you will need to space it far away or it will mess up the reading. Why don't you want an external wastegate? Inter cooler will be fine as you won't be aiming for very high numbers. I would get a spacer plate in there if it was me.

I've had a fair but of head work done. It's not cheap at all if you get it done properly but it's worth it. 1mm bigger inlet valves New guides New valve stem seals New exhaust valves Titanium retainers Had valve springs New valve seats Crack and pressure tested Skimmed £600 give or take £50

It's much more expensive than you think this conversion. So price it all up before you start buying parts.

Update time! Larger update tonight. Turbo adapter, t3 to t4. Bolts and exhaust studs. New genuine rubber boot, new number plate lights and new wiper caps. New wiring loom for the standalone, Bosch Motorsport coilpack. 840cc injectors Soundproofing Engine bay finished Turbo arrived finally Next to a 1 litre bottle of Mountain Dew Heater blanking plate from America seeing as though I'm not running a heater any more. This is the fitment of the new rear wheels They are 10.5j. That's all for now. Got a busy few weeks ahead.

Good evening, We are now in need for an extra car on the spot and a two reserves. Post up a picture of your car in this thread. We will need a an exterior shot, and engine bay shot and an interior shot. Also a short description of your car with modifications listed that you think will help your application. No I'm not running one. Floor mounted pedal box. And thanks. Been to the body shop today and it's finished turbos on its way alo with ecu and injectors and my polished parts are on the way!

Fixing the exhaust studs. The threads were destroyed so magic metal then re drill and tap with new studs. Started to paint the gearbox This is how the bay was last week And this was the bay yesterday. Happy with the progress. Got loads to do in the next few weeks but looking forward too it.

Thought it was pretty awful tbh, if it hadn't of had a golf in it it would of been even worse. Looking forward too next week with the p1 though. And I agree, the ending of the DVD was terrible! Made me want my money back.
