    October 2013 car of the month! Yes we know it's late but we don't decide who is worth till the end of the month. This month it goes to lukey! He bought his VR6 in August '09 as a project to do up, it was only supposed to be some light repair work here and there but then it snowballed into full bodywork and respray fixing and modifying everything he came across in the process. Bar spraying the paint and clear coat and the wheel refurb he has done everything to the car himself so it really is a home built not bought car.     I've used this stuff. It is chronic. Do not get on your skin. It burns. Lol But it's really good at removing 27layers of paint

    We are good at planning so don't worry about that. As for staying. Probably best booking your own as no where will take 20/30 people. Plus everyone might not get on etc...

    We are planning on doing a large trip to worthersee in May 2014. The dates will be around the 17th May to the 24th. I know it's months away but I have been asked by a few people for a breakdown of costs for our trip last year and I thought it would be good to get a thread up and running to give people plenty of time to source hotels/self catering etc. If everyone can add in with their costs, advice, tips etc we can cover everything and hopefully more people will be encouraged to go next year.     That's upto you. A lot of people rate the pt stuff. Especially the 6262. The yanks do about 500 on stock internals before it starts too go bang. Yeah 8.5 is good.

    I completely agree. Definitely only needed for chasing big numbers. I'm only running 400 but mine is overkill. But I'm chasing lol put that money towards cams and big valves. Have a read of the DIY turbo thread on here. The more power running n/a then the more power running less boost than usual. If that makes sense lol

    Rearranging with new radiator. Getting rid of the strut brace as it's just not doing the job. Not sure on the oil coolers position though. Opinions? Started stripping the mk3 now I've realised I bent the chassis Anyway the car is booked into the body shop for Saturday. So the mk2 is getting stripped this week. Lots of pictures hopefully.

    Wicked 268's would be good. Especially for higher end power. No need for the valve springs etc then if your keeping stock rev limit. Makes sure you invest in some arp hardware, head bolts and rod bolts Which short runner you going for? And are you using the standard intank pump as a lifter pump to the Bosch 044? I did that without a swirl pot.
