    yeah mate used the locking plate for the cams, the plugs were wet with water, oil and fuel lol... had some issues with them, i'll bin them and get new ones.... will check the yellow one...

    yes i do, well my buddy has it, last night he mentioned to me there is a break down in spark so could be my plug leads or cam timing that is out, left the car by his workshop and will get it back later tonight, will update later today

    So the weekend ended up fitting the 3.1 everything went according to plan until the thermostat housing started to leak, took 5 hours to sort that out ( had to retap the thread :bang: :bang: ) anyhoooo, no uni q yet, i have it at home but not installed yet, now when driving normally the car kinda jerks and holds back below 3000rpms and when you ever so slightly touch the pedal it feels like you starting to do a dance move lol... it jerks, i have driven 70km thus far and the fuel consumption is at 15.8L/100km which is very high considering i wasn't driving the car hard...at all... so will the

    So what can i do to my stock gearbox (02A) to make it better? some say fit 2Y ratio's? ( ABF cable shift box) others say fit a semi button clutch? others say leave it the hell alone! lol please direct me to some way to improve the gearbox, building it mainly for 1/2mile to mile races.... it is a 3.1, 276 cams, balanced bottom end, and extensive headwork...

    ^o) finally having it fitted, after about 13 months on the build..... 276 cams uni q chip headwork 3.1 vr6 ftw!!... will get her started up maybe tonight, the misses not feeling to well so i have to watch our daughter... fingers crossed!

    i've done the custom route.... 57mm stainless steel to the first box and 62mm through to the second box and out the rear, sounds awesome 0_o!! oh and it was cheeeeeeeeap!!!

    so a buddy of mine melted his number 5 piston, bent 4 valves and snapped his timing chain tensioner, we got everything sorted out, fitted and assembled, now how do i set the timing please?(i) please help a fella out!!:-#
