  3. ok so what is the best thing to do, i want: a shiny engine bay, now do i plate everything or send everything away to have it high polished? any links to find some goodies that will help me cause? im going high polished and/or gold, it'll look nice on the dragon green..

  10. I'm pretty sure with a different driver that car ran 11.1 on it's first weekend out. And if you can stretch to a pair of proper slicks over R888s you will notice a massive difference! R888 are good as they are consistent' date=' but they struggle to get up to temp quickly and are very stiff so break traction fairly easily. In my old car I ran 1.8 60fts on normal treads (launching on tick over too). James hodson runs 1.6 60fts on proper MH slicks!!   11. my previous mk2 i was running Weitec, and have only good things to say about them.... need to save to put some on the vr, for now the JOM is holding up nicely lol
  12. i came to post the same issue, it could be the POS pump cause mine was/is leaking and it could be causing something. my mounts all round was replaced two months ago so it couldn't be it. how do i/we check if it's the power steering pump? how do we check if it's the inner cv, top shock mounts, steering rack ends. <-- could be any of these as per my deductions. thanks gents
  13. gearbox- the G60 final drive will help alot practice makes perfect on the street my mate would have me with his nissan turbo, but on the track it would be a very close race, all because i knew how to race on the track lol....
  14. with the 3.1,cams and headwork , it was a BOMB!!!, gave a E46 M3 a massive hiding till 250km/per hour then he crept past me with the big valve head it really does pull very,very nicely, but nothing compared to the 3.1!

  18. haven't been here in a while, i took off the zender rims, placed them in storage and got me some Porsche rims D90's wasn't liking it that much so borrowed my mates TT comps, loving it now added a new grille and some stickers, some big plans coming within the next 6 months, i've blown the 3.1 bottom end racing, so now im saving for my turbo conversion!
