  4. so this AM pulled the car out and heading down the road the hand brake light is kinda flickering, like there is an earthing issue, i pull the handbrake up and down it goes off, now i get onto the highway and the light is on, then off, then on, then off, all in the meantime im trying to move the handbrake up and down every chance i get... so i drop the misses off at work and give her some beans ............. and the goes off, is still off.... anyone have any clue as to where i can start looking???   6. small update: cleaned up engine bay, added some stickers and took a pic of the gearknob i fitted... DIY bonnet lifts nice clean engine bay: some flava sorry for the kak pics, phone camera FTL!! :oops:
  7. one thing you have to remember when shortening the throw is getting a proper clutch or lightening the flywheel, the flywheel works where it has stored energy in it, and releases over the duration of your drive, so when you engade your clutch it builds some more pressure. oh well point being, just make sure you change in the right rev range or your gearbox is not going to feel so good afer a few months.. i have done the DIY short shift on my car , so im talking about experience

  9. ok , now i get what you are saying....... so what would be the best option for me, i want another "performance" coilpack and plugs and leads. Please show me what would best suit my application, since you have done ALOT more than i would ever get around to doing lol oh yes, thanks for the replies mate!!

  16. well, what would i need to fit the MSD coil packs? anyone show me which ones specifically to buy? Anything else i would need to change? I have 8.5mm aftermarket plug leads already it should look like this: reason: i would like to build a feature car, im busy with a 3.1 convo, 276 cams and happy gas.... will the msd help me along in gaining some more performance?

  18. it doesn't fit :-( tried every way i could, but it just doesn't fit, unless i get the front bay thing as well... and it looks like i doesn't line up right with the fenders... IM GONNA MAKE IT FIT, even if i have to fab one!
