    so veedubz not helping you lol.... MAF buddy, im working on a car now that is doing the same thing, replaced the MAF did a reset and it was like driving a new car again!

    still not a vr6..........yet lol but thought i would start the build thread... how she looked after some work done to her: currently still the mk3 2.0 GTi with BBS rs 7J with mk5 jetta FSi seats, jetta front end, sunroof and small mods here and there....... house has really got me buggered this will be a slow build but it is coming along slowly, next up is recovering the seats in cigar color leather 8-)

    sold off my vr ( yeah sad i know), got me a cheap mk3 gti, now i have an old motor in the shed, wondering what needs be for it to go in the mk3 gti?

    why not just modify the downpipe? the downpipe is 44mm i think and you put bigger tubing in, makes the world of difference, we just pulled it off on my mates vr and the sound and pull is amazing

    looks good in the pics, but if you get to about 2inches of it you'll see it's not peeeeerfect, it was my first try, im doing a few mates cars the weekend, will update with pics...
