enigine update

cheers, the grill is not my taste either so i swapped it for a 2 bar, got some mk4 angel eyes on the way then its in to the garage to have polly bushses fitted new shocks springs, disc's calipers pads, then in to the body shop for a blow over in diamond black, then the engines out for a clean and polish and general check up, then fit samco hose kit and may look in to a supercharger in the future but plenty to be getting on with for now ;-)

sounds like either the plugs, ht leads or the coil pack to me, if it was misfiring they are the first places i'd look, check the plugs, sounds like thats whats going on especially if its hard to start could be a dodgy plug or lead all fairly easy to sort out yourself.

Nice car mate was just checking out the forums, noticed your thread had a look its come on nice since the start, i must say the wheels do a great job of completing the look, i have the same wheels and am on the look out for some tt's but still think the bbs's look great lol i'm in the process of doing something similar myself, i think the mk3 vr's look outstanding with a bit of tlc as you have shown, i hope to get mine to a high stndard too, i only bought it a few weeks back but am already plotting things lol needs body work as its starting to rust a little inthe usual places, did you come up
