    cams is imposible to get around these parts...... looking at saving for a set 268 road cams and remap....

    the head had been standing for very long, the seats gets hard and seeps.... going to check if a valve is maybe bent.. now spend cash on fixing the big valve head or port and flow my current stock head...

    AHOY gents, got my old big valve head from a previous build, needs new valves and cleaning up.. question: which will be better running on a stock bottom end; 1. ported and flowed "stock" vr head 2. ported, flowed, 3 angled valves, big valved head im asking because last time i fitted this head my car didn't perform as well, prob due to the valves leaking, but will my stock ecu be able to handle it or is a chip a must? thanks

    replaced it, done the coilpack, leads and plugs as well.... got better but it's still there, a friend suggested the TPS but hard to find a 93 tps, its smaller than the 95up tps

    so after i broke my gearbox diff ( modded diff) fitted a new one, the car somehow drives alot better than it did, put it on the vagcom and came up with speed sensor error, which is fine, but i cannot hold the car in traffic on a constant rev, it kind of breaks down or gives a slight jerk like fuelling.... how do i check the fuel pump? what else can i check? thanks gents~!

    Got me another vr, gearbox was farked so sent it to rushdi.. So got the car back from my buddy, he fitted her with: 2L16valve diff ( mine had teeth missing and spider gears was fuuuucked :cry: ) 3rd and 4th from another car ( he doesnt wanna say) all i can say is MOTHERS PURSE it is WELL WORTH it!!!! :twisted: it comes in all within the power band and reaaaaaaaally makes the car fark off with out a doubt! got my hands on a new MAF as well (6pin) , 2 coilpacks and still looking for the oil switch, will test and see if that fixes my issue. after payday is: new fuel pump ( suspect it could b

    yeah came up with 7 error codes including the MAF, cleared the error codes and drove it checked again and no error codes again.. weird anything i could check?

    i had that thought as well, but on my previous vr's unplugging the MAF working or broken one the car would still idle...

    £250 is bit high for me, a 2nd hand g60 final drive would do me just fine, any chance you could find one for me, since im on the blacklisted continet.. very few places are willing to ship and those that do they charge more than the parts price in shipping, im really needing some of the vr6oc boys to lend a poor mug a hand
