  1. Yep it's self bleed, with varying degrees of success depending on how the planets have aligned in space, as far as I can see cos it has nothing to do with how you do it.
  2. Oh good point, I think it's the diesel one
  3. A mk2 gearbox mount is solid instead of fluid if you want a harder one.
  4. Bog standard engine wants a bog standard stat
  5. Lol the ns c pillar is the first thing I polished all the way up too
  6. If not you could get a bonnet from a scrapper and just practise and experiment.
  7. You tried mr injector? I had mine done and they weren't that much. You get vr6oc discount too.
  8. Try and clean out the holes as much as possible as they'll be full of dirt and tap the key in with a hammer to make sure of a good seat, a dose of WD40 at the joint to the carrier and time to sit could work them a bit too. I just did mine to replace the rear abs sensors and they were the worst part of the job, the method that worked in the end was this then holding onto the car body, resting my foot on the Allen key and pushing with my leg, not kicking though just gradual building I force to avoid rounding the bolts
  9. Width and offset will dictate whether it rubs it not, I'm running 17x7.5 and pretty sure they're ET38 and about 75mm drop coilovers it and it never rubs
  10. I would try another headlight switch first, I you flash the fulls while the dip are off they only light as long as you are holding the stalk regardless of the click that you hear signifying fulls on/off
  11. Careful with the heater cowling where it fastens at the bottom it can snap easily, you don't have to take the dash bar out or necessarily even remove the 2 sheer bolts on the column I got mine done with both in place just moving the bar around. It's not that bad and is certainly an easy job it just takes so long.
  12. If you get a proper kit in the same bulb fitment then yes you should plug straight into the harness
  13. Ok fair enough but ice seen people get expensive drilled dais candy they've cracked along the holes.
  14. Are you swapping a pump over? If just renewing fluid you can just replace as normal pushing the old fluid out with the new, only if compromising the sealed system is when you'd need to purge with vcds
  15. It's just DOT4 IIRC. Not sure how much it needs as I don't have a bleed system and is one of the few things I'll get a garage to do.
  16. The hards and the softs are the same really it's the application that differs, with the soft waxes you have to look like a proper tool and massage the car panels with your hands like some fetishist. Mine has a few layers on and (ashamedly but due to surgery) I haven't washed the car since October and it still beads when it's rained. My OCD makes my heart beat fast every bloody weekend that it rains for 48h non stop though meaning I can't wash and wax lol
  17. Take the right hand side as you look at it boot trims an carpet off and you'll get to the actuator for the flap
  18. I don't know which wire it would be, it could be a break in that wire or sometimes PCB tracks can split, would best to first have a look and check everything out and test continuity
