  1. It's not straightforward, you have to improv quite a lot of it
  2. I changed my interior knobs illumination to led white and it looks really good against the OEM green for all the fascias. It modernises it without it feeling sterile.
  3. The person who did it last time years ago you can pretty much guarantee did not have this obvious forethought.
  4. Stick a screwdriver in the hole and you can manipulate the handle latch
  5. You know, I didnt read who made the thread, i just looked at the pictures, somehow i knew it was going to be yours lol
  6. The easiest is unbolt the rear engine mount ten jack the sump up with a wood block under it for protection. The arms themselves are a piece of piss, the most grief you'll probably get is the bush bolts are probably welded up with corrosion.
  7. The leak is probably from the low pressure sender which is in turn causing the buzzer, it's the sender on the right.
  8. Led indicator relays don't have the resistance sensing in them
  9. Try contact adhesive, it's a bit messy though so take care
  10. whats that? like some serious cold start?
  11. just the normal size, trilock evo 5 get my vote
  12. It's easier to remove the diff cups to get the box out yes, but it's not necessary, I didn't on mine and it took a bit of to and fro but did it in the end, make sure you can get the fill hole out if the box before you attempt anything though. If you can't get that out you won't be able to put any new oil in.
  13. bad to hear, but good to hear that the VR will live on, this must be a hindu VR, rein-CAR-nation, arf
  14. Have a google as they change them. I think strathy was a long standing code though good for like 25 or 30%
  15. http://www.vr6oc.com/forum/topic/28682-how-to-disable-dim-dip-on-sidelights-essential-if-you-install-hids/#entry315009
  16. I have 6000k in mine which are supposed to be daylight so white with sky blue tint. For the sidelights they are bayonet bulbs rather than 501, I got some white LED dice style SMD ones from autobulbsdirect.
  17. What do you mean double side lights? That the dips come on half power with the sidelights? First you would have to disconnect either the resistor on the o/s chassis leg or undo the cable for it from the multi plug for the headlight switch. HIDs will not work at half power, they will strobe and burn out. The type you need are H1 there are tons of cheap shit on eBay but usually you buy shit you buy twice, I have never had a problem with hids4u their kit is immense quality, there are loads of discount codes too which brings the price down considerably
  18. The current drop on mk3 headlight looms is epic and well documented, google up making a relay headlight loom and you'll find that actually getting 100% of the intended power to the bulbs is like having HIDs
