does anyone know of a step by step guide to do the timing chains, i couldnt really b arsed to do it myself but after im gettin quotes 4 £750 includin clutch!!! nooooo way am i paying that!! unless any1 else knows of a cheaper place in the midlands that isnt stealth (not knocking ther workmanship at all - i jus cant afford 750 at the mo!!) i think the shocks r fine ther konis n ther oil not gas i think thats y they feel abit crap, im starting to think tho that my dampers arent specced to a vr6 but just a mk3!! they dont bottom out on the front but i dont think the springs r hard enuff, it rolls abit more than the back!

i need to replace my outer cv joint aswell on driver side jus started clunking today :@!

im compiling abit of stuff now tbf, got new lower arms n bushes n stuff, tempted to buy the eibach a/r kit now, i need more hours in the day to fit all this stuff!! lol

cv joint? check ur boot isnt split and exposed ur cv to the elements kackering it all up!! cv joint might click abit at first but then its going to knock!

im about to order a turbo kit from the US and the fact of popping boxes really worries me!! i went thru 5 boxes and 2 clutches in almost a year in my rs turbo!! dont want to be going through that again!! ive only had my VR about 6 months now so im still learnin about them, is the 02a the standard vr6 box? if i was to run around 300bhp and give my lead foot some exercise from time to time how long should i expect it to last?? have you had a stronger box built for yours, like some kinda quaife diff uprated bearings jobby?? do you know of any firms that have built them up in the past, n how much

has anyone on here done a turbo conversion? how long will a standard gearbox last on around 300 bhp? if i wanted a really strong box has anyone got any recommendations? i understand a strong box will cost alot of cash i was thinking along the lines of a rebuild with uprated bearings and a quaife diff of some sort duno if that will be enough though?

thanks peeps! im going to get all the camber n stuff looked at and gradually replace bushes front and rear, ive had new tyres n tracking done today and the turn in is better but it still doesnt feel like a confident drive! i spose im on 114k now and everythin is jus knackered!!!

its really doing my head in its even making me consider selling up! i duno if its jus cuz ther is so much weight on the front that makes the backend feel so unsettled. arggg!!

ive had my vr6 4 about 5 months now and its fairly standard jus got adjustable koni 40mm setup on it but i find that my car is really twitchy and somewhat unsettled on the road at speed, it feels like the car cud let go from the road at any moment sometimes n scares the shit out ov me tbh! ive checked my tyre wear and the front left is abit more worn on the inside, im gettin new tyres n tracking done today but im confident that this isnt the whoel problem. is it a collection of bushes that need sorting? or is my camber all wrong from the previous owner fitting the konis?? i duno if its jus vr6

nice 1 peeps im guna order them now!! as even vw cant sort me out until wednesyday so fuk it!! i was all fired up to go stealth today to buy some silicone hoses but they never answered all morning! tbf ive tried to phone all week regardin a service n cambelt change but they never answer arggggg!!!
