  11. oil flush can help with sticky / noisy lifters
  12. maybe a sticky caliper and the pad is moving slightly when braking

  14. my vr6 does not have a dipstick it is a 1996 obd 2 i cant see why it would not fit a galaxy but maybe the gear ratio's are different

  17. if you unplug the maf with the engine running and the engine tone dosnt change then the maf will need cleaning or replacing
  18. obd 1 will stay as obd 1 it shouldnt make much any difference but obviously would be handy for you to know so as you can order the right parts for your specific engine you may need to get it on VAG-COM which a diagnostic check i have one but its for obd2 the port connectors are different is the thermostat in the right way round

  20. yes small hole in first the cross bar bit is still visible once inserted just leave enough space for the metal from the throttle body in the pipe
  21. its supposed to be in there i think it reduces pressure into the body as it has a one way type valve in it
