    you do not need to take the throttle body off to clean it just open the flap spray with carburettor cleanor and wipe with absorbent cloth until clean did you clean the maf with electrical contact cleaner and allow to dry before use

    no you do not need abs just make sure your brakes are upto the job

    i bought a set and they turned out to be for an early model so it cost me even more because i had to send them back to get the correct ones not from the same place but savings are only made if everything goes to plan i didnt know there were 2 different ones and the seller didnt ask a lesson to be learnt try TIEROD69 ive never had problems with there parts and they know there stuff

    passats from atleast Yreg onwards use 5x112 so you might need the brakes from a later TT for them to fit what size brakes are on yours at the moment maybe cupra R 's would be the best for your fitment

    anpr is never 100% accurate we have it at work its between 87 and 92% accurate at reading plates
