  1. most modern cars with standard HID's are just as bad for glare as aftermarket kits as long as they are adjusted correctly there shouldnt be a problem

  4. the six ports on the front of the schrick where it joins by the flap was siliconed 6 months ago only a small smear as it didnt come with a gasket and not supplied when i bought the rest of the parts for the schrick

  6. i'd start with the ignition coil for the immobiliser they are cheap enough from FIRCOF1 on ebay if he's still got them

  8. did you want to borrow my maf to see if that helps maybe when the antifreeze shot in that direction a little bit went in can lend you contact cleaner if you dont have any have yo u tried clearing the codes and starting again

  10. looks right to me going by there vague discription if US is same as UK you will have 288mm discs and they say these are for 95-98 vr6
  11. what year is your car i assume these are for obd2 288mm as they are for the later version of the vr no wonder your confused since when is a vr single overhead camshaft

  16. i had a mobile tuning company tune the misses polo and he said its a waste of time on cars with ecu's but would work to some degree on my mk1 so i didnt waste my money for what it will save you if anything will take ages to recoup the money even if it was half price

  19. they do not work on cars with ecu's false economy bacically they introduce an airleak into the system if your lambda detects more fuel the maf will compensate
  20. abs light staying on will fail the mot abs sensors are not normally replaced unless faulty
  21. most are higher but not according to vw all 2.8's were 174bhp
  22. The firing order in the knowledge vault is wrong according to my car and funky fives 1 & 5 need to be swapped over all good all running sweet
