  1. Ah ha! That works! Cannot wait to hear the same noise in my engine bay!
  2. Good to see you have it in and running mate!
  3. Is this still the case for 24v does anyone know or can it be coded or written out in the software?
  4. Haven't just done that yet as I want to see where the driveshafts sit and in my case they need shortened on one side and lengthened on the other bit yes, it will be as high as I can get it to make sure it has every cance to get away from the turbo
  5. I did the oil lines for mine yesterday Bungy. I went with 1/4" bsp unrestricted feed and a 16.5mm ID return which I was able to get from a tractor in work believe it or not lol, correct flange and all on it
  6. I reckon a man of your means could make a couple of 24v ones of these only better
  7. How come? I thought it didn't fit when using 02M? Tony.... soon! lol Yann, thanks fella!
  8. Thanks guys, hope to have it in and running soon
  9. Been a while since I have updated the build thread but have been chipping away regardless.. After replacing mains bearings and fitting up with ARP studs it was time to move on to Wossner 8.1:1 pistons and Pauter rods install Preassembled.. Dis-assembled again for bearing install and fitment to crankcase. I used R36 bearings for this as they are teflon coated over the normal 12v or 24v bearings. Rods are the same in all four VR6 engines.. All installed using the ARP bolts supplied with the rods.. ARP head studs installed and OEM genuine MLS head gasket.. Had the head skimmed by Newry Moto
  10. They seem to have quite a small plenum? CHeap though but maybe that's for a reason?
  11. Will be a crowd of us heading over from Ireland to this
  12. Nice vids Paul! You got yours up and running I see?
  13. It's definitely an 02A mate. Expect to pay between £700-£800 for a diff plus about £300 for fitting. Why do you want one anyway? You plan to go FI?
  14. Nice work man! Bet you can't wait to have it running!
  15. Don't need to disconnect the slave cylinder line, just undo the two bolts that attach the slave cylinder to the gearbox and hang it out of the way, negating the need for fluid everywhere and having to bleed it up

Precision Turbo also make a nice one. Tial springs can be a bit off the mark boost pressure wise.
  17. Hi Dan, do you guys quote for Northern Ireland customers?
  18. You get your nice shiney things on yet by the way?
  19. I shall need better luck than I have been having but thanks!
  20. Haha, supposed to be in Scotland next weekend with the car so working every possible minute I have on it at the minute!
  21. Thanks Helen! Will have long engine built up today so getting excited now! Just waiting the last two vital parts to come so I can then get it mounted!
  22. So, been working on some more stuff. New mains bearings.. Crank in and installed with ARP mains studs.. Pistons and rods assembled.. And after a mundane evening, ring gaps all filed to 0.5mm for the middle ring and 0.019" for the top ring. Pretty monotonous job! Also got all my powdercoated subframes and stuff back from Canavans. This is THe best powder coating I have ever seen and cannot recommend these guys enough! Work and speed of turnaround is second to none! Once I had them back I was able to fit the Powerflex polybushes
  23. Never truer words Tony
