Is there anyway that I can tell if my gearbox is an 02A without having to remove it?

Looking some advice on a gearbox upgrade. Am I able to rebuild my gearbox with an LSD in it or any good options out there with an LSD as standard that would suit a vr6? Cheers

Not if you remove everything from it and the light isn't on. My car failed on the abs with the previous owner because the light was on but I put a blanker over and it didn't fail on it, it failed on having no catalytic converter ffs! lol
