  6. I pretty much figured it was doable buddy, just wanted to find out if anyone had it done or knew of compajies that dealt with it. Hindsight tells me that google is a valuable asset. Most people usually buy aftermarket wheels but I love the Golf steering wheel
  7. Well years of use means that the surface of the steering wheel has worn to the sticky/bitty feel. I wondered if anyone knew how much or if its possible to have the wheel resurfaced to new/standard. Cheers.
  8. No love for us northerners eh? I'll remember that Mr Bungy. I don't know why lol.
  9. Few months back in the Passat, this MK2 went roaring past me. Now I spotted it the other week and again managed to get a pic the other day. The car looks gorgeous and I've no idea who owns it Stunning.

  11. Dragon Green Golf VR6 been parked and sat facing away from the road for months. Car looks like it's being stripped? No rear exhaust. You on here?

  14. Something nasty brewing on the Aux belt side of my engine. Very tappety but also a pipping sound from HG area by the pulleys.
  15. Well I have one....on my car. I suppose I need to buy a spare eh?. Nice 360 avatar by the way
  16. Nuneaton Buddy. Depending on date. Can't do weekends though lol. Might be a loser.
  17. As per title. Also curious about the time it takes too. Finding stripped or near stripped gears not withstanding, what would the bits needed to replace be? Syncros? Bearings? Or does a company anywhere do a rebuild kit? Just for future reference. I'm starting to find reverse and 1st rather hard to engage and I've checked the selector and nothing is out of position.
