  1. My word not good enough then? lol.
  2. Well, it was good to see both Dan and Craig earlier. Some good stripping action. Good day to be fair. I have a rather poor video of craig stripping I think I'll be doing Sunday again next year at this. Oh, when I came back to my car to leave, there were 3 different cards on my windscreen, business cards, offering to buy my passat for the breakers. How rude.
  3. If anyone is there on the Sunday, DrRich and me will be there?.
  4. Agree with you Lukey. However, putting "spares or repairs" is a give away and I assume would remove any responsibility the seller may have after sale.
  5. Intresting ad for the mk3 though. Doesn't seem to friendly either. Out of curiosity, would anyone else deny people the use of a scan tool on a vehicle you were selling?
  6. Agree with Bungers. As soon as LPG became more common, the price started to rise. Personally, I'd stick with petrol myself. Ultimately, it depends on your thoughts and circumstances.
  7. I'm looking at the R32's to be fair. However, the GT tdi's may be better, in a money sense. Would love an R though.... going to chat with the mrs and see what she thinks.
  8. Right guys. Mrs Monk has suggested VR6, but second hand. I only have NEW car payment money.... IE 36 MONTHS,,,,, I know that NO dealer sells a Golf VR6 anymore unless in the R32 format..... too expensive. Does any one have any ideas?...... I have butterflys in my stomach when she says this. Mine was great, just required too much work. Lets hear um.
  9. Well, somehow, it seems she has sorted herself out. I drove her about 50 miles today with a heavy foot between scans. No scan codes after they had been wiped this morning. I can't tell you how happy I am now. I bought the CP anyway. With this, the car feels much better. Thanks for your input though, Don.
  10. I bought her back in July 2010. After a few weeks, I had suspected she wasn't running correctly, on the way back from collecting her, I had issues with lumpy/near stall idling when engine reached 90' but I was told that it was a possible Lambda. This continues to this day. Stalling with low revs and putting load on the engine with using the steering. After a week of waiting for a genuine lambda, I noticed that both, yes that's right, both Cam position sensors were unplugged. I have no idea how she was still running. Anyway, starting the engine from cold is fine, no issues. Hot starts can resu
  11. I think the plastic trim from the OBD1's were a great look. I had 2 OBD2 shells. I think they look great too. I suppose the trim on an OBD 1 could be classed as distinguished lol. Both look lovely.
  12. Slipknot, Rammstein, SOAD and the occasional Liquid drum and bass.
  13. Guys, I told Dave, but didn't write it on here. The VR6 currently has a very bad oil leak, she isn't, imho, running well enough to attend this. I'm also writing this to you from work, I forgot completely. I'm really sorry.
  14. I used Jom coilovers a few years back on my 3door. The stance and handling they gave me wound down 3/4 of the way, was brilliant. However, the spinal injuries and road ride they gave was also brilliant.... in the bad way. I can't say about top ride height though.
  15. Just curious really. My car is idling really roughly and I'm thinking it is either the MAF or Coilpack. I don't fancy paying £100 for a new Coilpack or MAF IF it will not cure the issue. Anyone willing to pop down to allow use of theirs would have a Bacon/sausage + egg butty(s) and copious amounts of tea with £20 or so petrol money thrown in? It would need to be a weekday if possible?
  16. 25. 8yncb FC £134 pcm. Go figure. I'll be leaving adrian flux next premium. They're crap.
  17. That is not a result of "junk" e-mail.
  18. Homosexual..... you can not fathom the immensity of thought I do not give to such videos.
