just been to my local GSF and the only head gasket have is a Topram head gasket, are these any good as i only wanna do the job once, and cant find any victor reintz or elring head gaskets anywhere local to me (sutton coldfield/birmingham) karl

just bought a set of these for a good price, but cant remember if you also need some 6mm spacers to fit these correctly?? cheers karl

going to do an oil change next weekend, and noticed halfords are doing castrol magnatec for £17.50 for 4l, would you say this is a good oil for a vr6 will be using the 10w 40 grade karl

i'm fitting a completly re-furbed engine in my corrado tomorrow, whats the correct way of getting it running for the first time?? ie plugs out turn over a few times?? or no plugs but with fuel lines attached?? karl

bought this manifold off e-bay and it was sold as an obd2 manifold, but it looks to me to ba an obd1 manifold, sorry for newbie question just not been around vw's for a few years but back in a obd2 converted corrado. cheers karl

the ONLY way you can seize a rotrex charger is not keeping an eye on the self contained oil level, there are people out there that have done 50k plus with a rotrex charger with no trouble at all. you can buy a kit to repair the rotrex chargers from R-TEC in holland, but they have to get all the parts together for you, as they don't stock the repair kit due to them not needing to sell them.

i got 296bhp and 265lb at just 8psi with my V1.

never heard of any box problems on corrado's, and leaking sunroofs?? never heard of that one either. i think someones been telling you porkies mate. and as for reliability, i have had no major problems with mine, but they are not new cars so be ready to dive into the wallet, get onto the corrado forum as theres some bloody nice ones for sale on there at the moment. karl (corrado owner for the last 7 years)
