  1. plug it in and clear the codes - then drive it a bit and plug it back in to see if the codes have come back...
  2. if uve touched nothing else then logic would suggest that u might have damaged the pcb?? u might be able to pick another abs/airbag light assembly up cheaply on ebay or from yr local breakers
  3. well imo thats the next thing to do, i assume u checked the sparks like i suggested and cleared the coilpack out of the equation???
  4. i assume that u cleared the errors from the ecu when u plugged her in, did they come back after u cleaned up the sensor?? maybe u need a new one? also this should really be in the engine section...not interior;)

AFAIK the engine should run w/o the maf attached, the fact that it runs does not prove there is a problem with the maf
  9. assuming that u only took out the section with the abs/airbag lights in then maybe u damaged the PCB that the lights are mounted on?? touching it with bare hands might have been enough to do it. if u delved deeper than that then u better say what u did as without that were just guessing

get a couple of crocodile clips and bolt them together, attach one end to a solid metal part of the engine to get a good earth... remove one spark plug and hold it with other end of the croc-clips around the threads... plug it into the HT lead and turn over the engine to see if theres a spark... its prolly better to do this in the evening when its dark so its easier to see the spark

check whether u r actually getting a spark on each cylinder, if not the its likely the coil-pack if u have already done plugs and leads.... if u r getting 6 sparks then u can start looking elsewhere
  12. lmao... there a 17mm drain plug on the underside of the box and another one on the front which is used to check the fluid level (on flat ground the oil should just about dribble out of the plug-hole) u only need £10 worth of oil from gsf to fill the box (2 litres) so its quite cheap to do an oil change
  13. yeah but AIUI the coilpack will normally drop 2 corresponding cylinders one from each bank... not one complete bank???
  14. wow thats a great price, especially with recaros in there... mystic blue ftw
  15. what sort of idiot buys cars like that b4 they have a full licence anyway... especially with 6 points already if it was me i'd wait for the ban to finish then go back to the same thread and post that forum ban or not he still bloodly deserved it... he must be mates with one of their mods
  16. not necessary with a standard manifold... maybe if u have a schrick???

  19. well my fuse cover says number 4 (numbered from the left) but the servo pump is on the same fuse so i doubt taking it out would be a good idea...
