  2. i now got i going after some investigation....the problem was the walbro 4 bar fuel pump..i put the original one on and all is fine,,idles and revs perfect..also i think when i pulled the fuel pump out there may have been a slight kink in the fuel line when i changed it to the walbro pump...happy days take it for a spin on thursday for its tuv test...cant wait.......
  3. yer its atmospheric but have plug to make it recirc..ill try that also i havent tried with the inlet pipe off the tb but sure it wont run.....b4 i put the original air piping on and it ran about 90% ok....yer the isv is behind the rocker cover plasics the blue samco pipe conects to the isv piping at the top....
  4. was going too mate,,but off to the uk tommoz for 1 week then back here and straight on exercise for 4 weeks then leave then afghan,,so had no time to get it down there and organise a trailer in time, so i phoned sls and he said bring the ecu for a chip to get it moving so i could drive it down today and leave it there for a few weeks but last minute army .com decide to go on ranges in the uk in the morning...i had it all sorted to go down first week in june trailer ect...well pissed
  5. went to SLS tuning today, i took my ecu down for a chip so i could at least get this thing moving..fitted the ecu and the car is even worse ...wont idle at all..when it starts the revs are up and down then cuts out after a little while..even if i pump the accelerator cable it makes no difference but rev a little higher..these are the same symtoms as the old standard ecu....but on the old one i could get it up the rev range with a smooth pull on the accelerator cable but if blipped it would run rough ...things ive tried: i changed the fuelling from using the FPR and the 4 bar reg to the standar

  7. im running rotrex c30-84 6 psi pully,walbro 4bar race fuelpump,4bar reg and syntec fse,standard injectors for now.forge diverter,samco pipes,2mm spacer gasket...i got the kit from a lad on the forum earlier this year.he was running 280hp on a c2 map....
  8. Next step is to get it mapped at sls tuning germany and change the inlet manifold to a carbon look one
  9. id love to do a project from that basis...but no room well im sure if i brought the wife some chocolates i could do it in the garden...good to see the results as the suspence was killin us all inc bungy...

  11. yer have a look where the drive shaft comes out the back of the wheel hub and give it a shake,,if it moves then theres you problem...be easier to turn your wheel to get better access....or you can have allok behind the engine from the top and look if there is a gap between the box and shaft again you can wiggle it from there...
  12. have you checked your drive shafts which goes into the gearbox as the bolts may have come loose and fell out....just a quick one

    live in germany mate 70 miles north of sls...yer the roads in from around 30 miles from sls are top should give top gear a bell..will post video and results asap ...bungy im hoping for around 900 lol...ill need one of those things that white golf has got on ebay..wot a cock,,,hoping to hit estimated 270-280 but the closer to 300 ill be more chuffed...
  14. if you wrap something around the box,,i used an old timing belt..lower the car down on the axle stands as low as they go with a trolley jack under the engine lower it more and get a bit of an angle to lift the gbox into position.... i found it easier to take off the bracket for the mount ....just be careful not to rip a drive shaft boot. if not get someone to help you more hands the better
