    Thinking of changing my Powerflow exhaust as it's just too damn loud/boomy/deep/ear bleeding at low revs/speed and unfortunately most of my driving is in town. Anyway,i've been looking around and i see the Jetex system is advertised a quiet one(which would suit my needs) Can anyone confirm this? How quiet is it? Cheers Chris

    I wouldnt worry about the mileage as long as the S/H etc is all good. I was in a similar position when looking for one, i'd seen a nice lowish mileage 97 plate with full leather etc but no history at all, i never bought it but plumped for mine which had S/H and 92k on the clock and i believe i made the right choice.     I read that using T-Cut is one of the worst products to use on your car. Looks nice though(other than the rear lights) :-) Chris

    aka CV Joint. GSF don't stock them??... most places stock CV Joints. i need a new one shortly so i'll be on the look out for suppliers. Chris

    LED's do. I tried fitting two LED bulbs as rear brake lights and they flashed twice as fast. So i took them out and never bothered... Chris

    You doing it yourself or is someone giving you a hand? It'll be easier if you have someone to help you( mainly to put weight on the suspension arm when you remove the shock). Easy job though, after removing mine far too many times i can remove and fit all corners in about 1/1/2 hours now . :-| Chris

    Really like it but am i missing something here?... To view posts since last visit.. if i click on 'New Posts' in the main forum page it brings up a list but if i go in through the home page there was an option (which isnt there today? ) which said something along the lines of 'there have been x amount of posts since your last visit, click to view'...and this was the one i used as it seemed to contain more posts?? So, where's that option gone and am i using the correct function to view new posts? .. I'm confused.. :S Cheers Chris

    Mine just died one morning after no signs of been on it's way out but once i'd fitted a new one i soon realised how long my old one took to start the engine. I too got a 2nd hand one, cost £35. Chris

    Best off getting some aftermarket ones. I've just fitted some FK MK4 style ones and the lighting is superb compared to the standard headlights. I had upgraded bulbs in my standard ones before but that still never compared to the FK's. Chris

    I got 2 LED's for my rears after tinting them but they flash twice as fast so i have to fit a resistor (which i couldnt be arsed to do). So i stuck em in my brake light hole and tbh you cant see any difference between them and the normal bulbs... I wouldnt bother tbh.. Chris

    Yea i got the resistors but i can't be arsed to mess about for the sake of it so i never bothered, just stuck the LED's in another socket :-) Chris

    I reckon 8" would catch, mine are 7.5" and just clear the arches.But as mentioned, it'll depend on your offset. Chris

    I've got the G-Max shock/spring combo on mine and even though it's at the budget end of the market i really rate them for quality and ride comfort. Lights wise,i've just DIY'd some standard CL ones to all reds and they improve the look of my Black VR no end. Chris
