  3. Had new collies on for about 200 miles and a creak has developed at low speeds (might be happening at higher speeds but the engine noise drowns it out..) If i pop the bonnet and bounce the front up and down i can hear a creak/squeek coming thru the top mount as it bounces up and down, not a loud one by any means but one that's bugging me... When i fitted the collies i wound them up :-# (rubbing issues) so the helper spring is now very compact - could this have anything to do with it? I was thinking of removing the Helper spring - would that be ok to do? Doubt it's the top mounts/bearings as
  4. Great stuff - i'll have another look this week. In your 1st photo - the motor and window mchanism look easier to access than i recall - is there another panel/trim part that bolts off? Also, How much of a job is it to get all that removed? Thanks for your help Chris
  5. I've had the doorcards off but just cant see why it's not working... The motor pulls it down ok but struggles to push it back up - the cable is there and tries but its as though something has 'come off' (the rubber suction thing i found? )... The main switch operates fine so it's not that. Defo somethign to do with the mechanism.. but until i see what it should be like i cant compare... Cheers so far Chris
  6. Bump... anyone at least got a drawing of the windown assembly?
  7. Had the panel off today and i found a small window suction pad type thingy lying in the bottom of the door??? The motor brings the window down but wont push it back up..but i can manually push it back up. Any ideas? Anyone got a layout of the window assy? Thanks Chris
  8. Nah-im running 205's on my 8" rims and the stretch is minimal. Plus the 205 tyre is cheaper...
  9. Bump...surely other people have had this problem???
  10. Is this common? Had my arches rolled and gone a bit lower but it now catches where the rear bumper meets the arch(this never got rolled) Anything i can do? Does the arch lip run all the way round or can i just remove the bumper lip? Cheers Chris
  11. I could do with knowing this too please.. But if it's any help i've just fitted my coiovers and the measurement from underside arch to centre of wheel is 315mm.....and i reckon thats about a 50mm drop - although could be wrong - hence me needing the std height measurement..

  15. Gonna be getting some collies shortly as i think my lowered spring/shock kit is on its way out , well one shock anyway... I've just measured the distance from underside of arch to centre of wheel and it's 291mm...but i dont know what the standard set up would measure so are unsure of how low it is(but pretty low i reckon!) Does anyone know or can someone with a standard set up measure there's please? Cheers Chris

  19. I’m currently running 8’s with an offset of 32 and are about to put some 17mm spacers on the back so the offset will be 15mm. I’ve had the arches rolled so I hope they wont rub. But I don’t know if they will stick out too much? Is there a law that states they can only stick out so much? Opinions please... Cheers Chris
