  6. Now now steady on there old chap [emoji6] wish it was a holiday!
  7. There's a smaller manual I bought for mine years back which was really helpful, only covers the engine but I had it off the bay. Still see them now and again, have a search for VR6 engine manual dan.
  8. Right guys and girls, I've been entrusted with taking on this months feature car, so if anyone feels theirs can make it to our hall of fame, get in touch. I don't want long paragraphs in here, listing all te details, or there'll be no point in doing a feature so just a picture will do, and small summary of your progress with it. I'll get in touch with the owner of the chosen car via PM by the end of the week [emoji106]
  9. Welcome to the club mate, get yourself signed up to the members section if your not already, well worth a tenner [emoji106]
  10. There was 3k mile minter on eBay not so long ago, but the screen price was a couple pounds off £13k

  12. If you can get labour at £30 an hour your doing well! Labour rates across the board average around £65 nowadays. Definitely put a clutch in it whilst your at it.
  13. Welcome along mate [emoji106]
  14. I had a guy in morrisons petrol station say to me last week "that cars too nice for you" He works there and has seen me a few times, but he clearly thinks he's funny siting behind his safety screen
  15. Welcome along mate, shouldn't be too bad to insure a VR, I was 19 when I had mine, cost me £420 fully comp to cover it. Was a few years back mind but it's worth pricing around.

  19. The paintwork on that is stunning Richie fair play
  20. Chains are a straight forward job, once you get to them. 2.5 hrs is way off the mark unless on a stand as Pete says. It's a while since I've done any but your looking at nearly 2 hrs to get the gearbox out, factoring in brew stops and stress fags.
  21. I want one, I'll be on the club store at the weekend me thinks
