  1. They're not rough as such, there's no curbing marks or anything so a fine wet and dry paper and some elbow grease should fetch the rims up a treat. The centres look like they've been dipped, and then sprayed orange over the top by a 15 year old. I might buy some ultra fine paper and wet sand them, polish and see what they come out like. Not too sure on which tyres yet, not really bothered as long as they're not plastic shite.
  2. 205/40 mate. They're not as perfect as they look, bit of a bodge job on the orange really but who knows. I might split them and go tornado red powder coat in the centres eventually. They wouldn't make ultimate dubs the way they are let's put it that way.
  3. Thread hijack!!!!! Look what I just picked up [emoji16][emoji16] Couldn't resist sorry cabbs [emoji6]

    fresh!

Welcome along mate, it's not a bad place to be lol. Pics upload is the easiest if you use tapatalk on a device if any sorts. That's the way I do it anyway. take a picture, choose from camera roll and hit the button. Job done.
  5. Yes definitely on a black VR! What other colour would bronze be any better with with? I think black and dragon green are the 2 colours for bronze wheels, maybe red too.
  6. Stick with it. I like them a lot [emoji106]
  7. No problem. Hope you get it sorted. You can probably buy generic turbo pipes, and just specify which adaptors and thread, male-male or male-female etc and couple them all up. There's loads of hydraulics companies out there mate, have a look through your local yellow pages and pop down for a chat with them.
  8. You need to find out what thread is on the feed pipe itself, then youl know what sort of adaptor is required. Most hydraulic fittings are normally BSP. If what your showing me there is the high pressure feed side you can use something like this which should be available from a local hydraulics company Or take the pipe and turbo with you and say "I need that to fit in there please" Otherwise there flange adaptors available to pick up on the 2 M6 threads. I would imagine the low pressure return pipe is something along these lines too This is the company I use regularly, they do all manor of p
  9. What exactly is it your struggling with mate? Is the pipe an M10 male thread or the turbo an M10 female thread? If so what thread is the pipe? I fit holset turbos to the wagons in work and they usually have an M14 male threaded adaptor in the turbo, and the pipe has the corresponding nut and olive fitted.
  10. I like the P-zeros, good grippy tyre. Tad on the noisy side but good all the same. I really rate Dunlop sport maxx too. They are expensive but they were fitted as standard to the mk4 r32 and used to stick like jizz on a blanket!
  11. Are you a paid member dan? There is discounts to be offered in certain places for full members. Well worth the tenner a year and you get a sticker!! [emoji106]
  12. Tweeks cycles however, that is a competitive department, I wouldn't go anywhere else now. When I decide to get another bike, I'll go there for sure
  13. Use red hammerite smooth dan it's perfect for the job!
  14. I wasn't trying to imply you were into that stuff mate honestly, I genuinely do apologise if it came across that way. I'll say one thing for those lads in tweeks, they are helpful and I've bought gauges and stuff of them for the land rover in the past, along with many other bits. In fact most of my mates have run up some pretty scary bills in there with cams and engine parts wheels tyres etc, but some stuff is pricey all the same.
  15. I can't think of who you all mean when you say demon tweeks?? There's a place 5 minutes from me that we call demon thieves would that be it?? If your into folia tec caliper paint neon washer jets and TSW venoms then that's where it's at [emoji6] Anything else above those bits and pieces is over priced by a big margin!
  16. It's all good healthy fun lads, wouldn't any point in being here if we couldn't all have a laugh whilst being constructive [emoji6]
  17. Some sound advice there mate. My concern with stretch is rim damage more so than bead popping but that's more to do with where I live and the local roads being country lanes. Obviously this isn't the case for everyone it's just my reason for not going mad with them.
  18. Happy new year all, it's quite amusing seeing the posts, I'm working today so last night was a normal one. I watched some tele, had a brew (I was on call) and finished up the night watching the countries biggest ever waste of taxpayers money on 8 ridiculous over extravagant minutes of over the top fireworks! No wonder we lose so much money from our wages to tax.
  19. Well it's not a simple system really, and let's bare in mind my knowledge is of heavy systems that are highly electronically controlled but it is doable on a smaller scale. You need for struts, a tank capable of holding enough pressure, compressor, a form of air dryer to eradicate moisture, 8mm plastic piping, one way check valve before the tank, a pressure regulating valve after the tank, guages, a form of levelling valve or controller and a few other bits depending how complex you want it to be [emoji16] I deal with it daily, hence why I've got coilovers. I simply can't be arsed!
  20. Dave you can have a job anytime mate, JH Willis keeps the cable tie people in business [emoji106]
  21. The beauty of working with air systems and air suspension for a living [emoji5]️

  24. You've got it, get a couple of those on there. The miltek I had on my r32 used those, never had a blow on that.
  25. I have t yet Pete, I'm always using tapatalk. I need to get on the full site to renew my membership so I'll have a look. Might be interested in a mod position in the near future, sort out the rabble between cabbs and bealieboy [emoji6] I'm on here enough!
