  1. You must have some photos of your silver VR under the bonnet?? PS you seen it lately?? Looks somewhat different
  2. I done mine at 126k and they were fine, IIRC the lower tensioner/guide was broken but TBH it really depends on what and how the car has been used, IMO a 100k motorway car is a better buy than a 50k town car!!
  3. Focker-out

    Sally:s VR

Mine was the same but i was referring to the "repairs", who the hell welded that? they need to be shot!!! I fitted new outer sills cos mine were all bent, lots of "show" cars have stunning bodywork but the sill area gets forgotten about.
  4. Mines a 97P and i didn't have one before i fitted a GL rear glass and i still dont have one, they are a horrible looking thing!!!

    JE sus what happenned there???
  6. Congrats on the feature mate, car looks great!! Not sosure about the blue one tho.... Pity the VSR wasnt fitted at the time
  7. Damn thats a nice looking car!!! Love the plate too
  8. Silver in the VR6 is FAR rarer than Mulberry, when searching for my current car i found over 40 examples in mulberry for sale but only one in silver and this continues to be the trend!!

    ford vr6

The Galaxy/Sharan and Seat Alhambra were all the same car but weirdly the Seat was never offered with the VR6 engine
  10. I have a rear US bumper on my car and it looks heaps better than the Euro one, as the lower valance is a better sahpe, and this may cause an outrage but i think Mulberry is the most over rated colour for a mk3!! Rather have a windsor blue or silver one as they are far rarer and IMO much nicer
  11. Im currently at 132k and my chains and headgasket was done at 126, both of which were fine but i done them as i believe prevention is better than cure!!
  12. Looks fresh as hell!!! But i forgot how high Std corrados ran!!
  13. What you guys may notice, well i did when i was "testing" my corrado with my mates golf is that the corrado has a higer rev limit therefore holds each gear for longer
  14. Good lad, mine comes off the road in about 2 weeks time and my chosen runner will be a white escort van, if i find one at a decent price!!
  15. Jeeezz!!! 100k on a Vauxhall, lunacy, but then so is 2200bhp
  16. Sharky the "one on the left" is for the ECU its a blue one from memory!! This will have no effect on the coolant fan working when the engine gets hot!! It will be the switch on the radiator itself!!
  17. ^^^^Yup as i said before its screwed into the rad and as pointed out above the sensors on the thermostat housing are for the 3 speed fan, water temp to ecu and water temp to gauge!!
  18. Simple!!! Pop out wheel centre, disconnect the horn, undo 24mm nut and thats your steering wheel off!! Refitting is reverse of removal!!
  19. Arse!! I got hold of the wrong end of the stick!! I thought you cold supply YOUR turbo kit for £1600! Well what sort of price for your own one?? PM me with a price and details please mate!! Thanks
  20. Looks different not sure on the black/grey combo TBH, but im sure itll look good
