  2. The wedding car was the only thing i was responsible for at my wedding so clearly I needed a flame spitting v8.
  3. Hell yes to a v10 and awesome side exit on anything, but like mentioned hell no to the rest of the car... Totally ruined sadly.
  4. I love that thing. The best thing about it is not just slimy the engine, but the engineeri that went into cutting it into quarters and extending it both length and width ways. That thing has been properly engineered to handle and go quick in a straight line. Well worth a visit to there website and a read up on it.

  6. Reflex are supposed to be really good but you'll be paying top dollar from what I understand. I know a guy in molesworth who's really good. If that's not too far I'll send his details over. He should be cheaper.
  7. Amazing thing. Especially from the original 16v lump rather than going the 20vt route. Although its no longer in the mk2, the engine and running gear is now in a mk1!!
  8. If the catch on the lid is broken you can get a replacement for a couple of quid on eBay. Takes about 20 seconds to change and then you can leave it up without it hanging in the back. HTH
  9. If its not turning could the starter be jammed? Mabe give it a good rock while in gear and see if that free's it off?

  12. It would run best with a remap undoubtedly but what car wouldn't. I don't see any reason you can't bolt it on for a less restricted system. I take it it has a hole for the lambda? Are you running a FI setup because that's the only application I can think of where it would make more of a difference?
  13. I got some from ebay but they seem crap? Maybe I'm not being aggressive enough?
  14. Aren't the expansion caps known to fail? Might be something as simple as that?
  15. Does it overheat at all, and do the fans kick in when they should?

  18. Hi, can someone please confirm e torque settings for the upper inlet, and exhaust manifold bolts/nuts please. And also the exhaust head studs if possible. Thanks!
  19. Yeah just 7mm ones. If I'm honest I can't see the point of another on my application? I guess there's more of a case if you're running a FI setup...?
