    Any idea what they cost from the stealers or the magnecore alternatives? I must admit I've had magnecores on my old 8v and never had any trouble.

    So the golf I brought turned up with leads that literally fell to pieces, so I need to order some more. Basically I just don't wanna buy more of the same. So do I just go to the stealers and get raped, or does anyone have any positive experience with say GSF/ECP or another patern part. Not really looking to spend a fortune on 'performance' leads unless someone got a damn good reason why lol. Thanks in advance!

    My mk2 I sold with around 150k on, and the mk3 I've just brought has 138k. Can't say I'm that phased as you say they're awesome engines!!

    Well I agree I doubt we'll see a twin turbo 500hp fire spitting version hit the forecourt but if they've developed a new vr6 they'll have to use it somewhere. So surely a n/a version will appear in something.

    Ok so I'm not a premium member but I thought I'd offer my feedback. 1) No 2) Nothing I try to post here and there. I guess I just read a lot more than I post. 3) I've only recently come back into vr6 ownership, and it's been a long time since I've been to any shows/events. I would have come to the RR day if the car was back together. 4) handy to have somewhere to come and chat vr and get advise etc

    Pretty sure reversing lights are not a mot requirement mate.

    I had a similar thing with mine. Looked like the internal sensor box had shorted. Once I removed that everything was roses!

    Hi All, I've seen a few of you mention aligning your throttle bodies after maintenance on the engine and disconnecting the battery etc. Since my car is currently in pieces while i renew a few things and fit my 6 branch I figured it couldn't hurt to do this when its back together. However looking through and searching the forums I can't see a guide? I've Googled it and all i get is loads of arguments whether or not you can do it without VAG-COM. So I guess my question is can you? Not to open a can of worms just looking for a yes or no really. Also if no does anyone know what the open door and

    Isn't the buzzer for high and low pressure? First thing I'd do is get a pressure gauge on it. Don't want to scrap your engine!
