  1. Sorry, didn't mean to be rude! +o( and no,it's not a spliff, it's a thermometer, that looks like a spliff.
  2. I hate people. Get a german sheperd, number 1 guard dog and they love lager, but just found someone selling Uzi's on e-bay for a reasonable price, ammo included. Looks like a Russian address funnily enough .
  3. Think TA just means top adjustable mate.
  4. Just had another look at your photo with your post, have you got a gypsy problem where you live or what? Get a German Sheperd, they don't half keep the theiving bastards in check.
  5. Cheers mate, always nice to have something confirmed by someone in the know.
  6. When the engine cut out, did all the ignition lights come on straight away or did the dash go completelt dead as well? Could be wrong but looks like a dodgy earth connection to me, or some kind of electrical connection, unless someone knows better.
  7. I've just put one on the wife's golf and that was seam welded, so would assume they are.
  8. Got a bit of a shock at first, but it's growing on me.Had to turn the brightness down on my monitor to stop me having fits though, but very impressive chaps, you must have been up all night!
  9. Don't own a chain of Cantonese restraunts by any chance, do you Seademon? !lol
  10. Howdo mate. I'm just outside Stanley, draw a straight line between Newcastle and Durham and Stanley is right in the middle, bout 8 or 9 miles from each. Have only seen one vr6 apart from mine where I live.
  11. Found GSF website today and guess where they've just opened a new branch? Yeeeeeeees, sunny(?) Newcastle. At last some competition for ECP. Hoorah for GSF.
  12. Just pure greed! I blame the parents, no wonder the Americans are fuckin' obese from birth.
  13. Cheers Russ. I'll sleep tonight now, seeing as I cleaned it with it without asking first. What a muppet!
  14. Is it ok to use carb cleaner to clean the maf or will this kill it?
  15. Cheers Stuey, will have a look, seem cheaper than ECP for the same parts.
  16. Can see what your saying mate , but I've never had any interest in private plates, just seem a waste of money. You would have been much better off changing your name by deedpoll to your car registration. I am now called P47 GDB and cost a fraction of the cost of private plates, but can be a bit of a mouthful if you go to a posh wedding!
  17. The unit I got was Beru as well. I'm just asking out of curiosity, I see the GSF thing used quite regularly, is it a different company to eurocarparts or what? I've never heard of them up my way (8 miles from Newcastle).Hate to think I was paying more than I should, that could be money spent on Stella.
  18. I wouldn't mind a carbon heat sheild for the induction system. Think they would be quite easy to knock out, not really a lot of engineering involved, he could make a mint if he got it right!Agree with you on the price bit, charging ten grand for everything is a bit steep. (
  19. I had Bilstein gas dampers on my mk2 and they were good, but not as good as koni and can't understand why they're more expensive than the koni's. I'd go for the koni's if I were you mate, without a doubt, no contest. Absolutely definitely.
  20. I got one from ECP about two months ago and was about £140 inc VAT.
  21. I had K1's on my mk2 and they were realy good, made a big difference to throttle response, but they are very thick(10mm) and you would probably have to cable tie them to the engine covers.
  22. Sos mate, misread the post. When you say axle, do you mean the part of the hub that the wheel sits on?
  23. Don't know how its still on the road if the chassis is that twisted, should have been a write-off !dodge
  24. Mine never had any braid coming from the rocker cover into the vent. Just have to live dangerously.
