hi all ive got a vr6 luv it but its had a wack in the past and it sits 12mm higher on passenger side and looks twisted so thinking of getting a mint 1.4 shell and shelling it what do u wreckon? what things do i change? mounts,pump,loom,sub frame etc any help or comments arreciated dipped

u could possibly clean it and see what happens but use a tooth brush etc gently trial and error

mines got 183ibs ft and 208bhp flywheel which i thought was high considering chip and filter!!! butb the power line was superb tho not a missed beat

search for tracking and allighment specialists they will have all the equipment for camber setups etc

ill b honest mate but the gti looks the same as a vr6 neway apart fromk different badge...the later vr6's came archless

hi wanna remove me arches but dunno what to expect underneath lol...its 1993 l reg but very solid seals etc what do u think guys? :?

wouldnt use engine flush as it ruins the seal around valves etc throughout the life that the oil makes,mine is the same vibration feel in accelerator cams rattle when started but im changing them in may aswell as chain tappets etc

chains are on gearbox side could be tappets if other side but when you do the chain then u may aswell do the tappets im gonna in may

ive bin told its coz they have a shorter drive shaft on one side than the other
