who done ur map m8? u could swap them back, some r push in chips, later ones r soldered in. i would speak to whom mapped ur car seems as if there could be a prob. also might b worth putting it on vag-com?

i was hit from behind in my escort cab, the other person was at fault, my car was insured as a std 16i, but infact it was a 200bhp rs turbo conversion, car was very modded and was sprayed white with violet flip. none of the insurers asked for any details about tax and mot.. so u might be lucky...

could have a leaking door seal? hole in the floor? or even a fucked heater matrix? i would take the carpet up, dry the floor, and check to c where the water is coming from?

i use vauxhall 10/40 semi coz i get it cheap thro my work! if i buy 3 5lt's for 20 odd quid i get another 1 free.. bargain i have to top mine up every few weeks..

if u look at a 2.9 manifold underneath, they are designed like this from factory, combined with a larger TB.. its just u cant ever find a 2.9 manifold for sell? this is just the same as that, vw did this only on 2.9s i believe?? my car is going 2.9 soon and has enlarged 2.9 TB already fitted, of course i will have to get a remap when all the mods are done..

put a new cap on couple months ago, got to take dash out soon to put my new one in so i will have a look at the matrix then. strange how one pipe is cold and the other hot?? the matrix must be blocked?

i had a similar problem turned out to be TPS but it didnt show up on scanner? u could try changing idle speed valve?

the car keeps using water about a header tank a week? u can sometimes smell coolant when u leave the car ticking ova? but i cant find where its going to? so i put some rad weld in....

temp gauge is normal russ, dont know why one is hot and the other is cold? i did put some rad weld in the other day and its being doing it since then? i reckon ive blocked it up?

hey peeps!!! i have yet another problem with my car!! the heaters work fine when driving, but when u leave the car ticking over for a while the heaters go cold??? its not til u drive it again that it goes hot again?? i checked the pipes going to the heater matrix and one of the pipes is cold? does this mean that there is a blockage in the heater matrix???

have u checked fuel pressure with a reg?? i once had a kinked fuel pipe and that messed up fueling. wot about new fuel filter?? just sum ideas..

i bought a headgasket at inters this yr for £5. it is a metal one, is this the right one for this? or is it a std head gasket? part number is -071 103 383 can any confirm which gasket i have?? -

they are just riveted on m8, should come of easy. i done it on mine. u need to get late spec door mouldings tho. look on ebay coz there was sum on there.
