    fitted strut brace today, had to cut 5mm off each end, and lower header tank.. but looks ok, and only cost be 20 quid..

    are u running a charger? if so could it be linked to a prob with that?? u say ur car has always breathed heavy? so maybe there is a internal prob, ie rings etc

    yep i would aswell, the dipstick wouldnt pop out unless there was pressure behind it.. think that would be the only reason?

    i think dat is for metal ones, still works out nearly 90 for centre caps!! audi told me they need the part no. of the alloy to get the right ones tho so could be cheaper. i went on theTTshop and they sell them for 23 each!! cheers rich for the info they will do for the mo..

    does anyone know if they are 8J or 7.5J coz i was told 8? but ive seen others which say 7.5? they haven't been delivered yet so i cant check..and where can i get sum centre caps to?

    after buying a set of wheels after bending mine, ive bought another set coz i didnt like my replacement ones. im still not to sure if they will work on my car, but i do like them. need to put sum tyres on them and ill get sum pics up..also what size tyres should i put on 205 40 r17 or 215 40 r17..i have both, im thinking 215's coz they are 8J?

    same happened to me, car made a terrible grinding noise! the water pump fell to bits and belt got ripped into a million bits, also after i noticed noise from tensioner, took it apart and it was bone dry, greased it up and its mint now!     i would def say it is ur plugs, leads or cap m8.check ur plugs first..

    ive bought a strut brace, and it fouls the header tank. has anyone had this prob?? do u have to lower the tank to clear brace? thanks peeps..i was told it was for a mk3 vr6..
