  1. Wrong brackets, gearing, flow rate etc, big thumbs down
  2. Too many ideas and too much time to find ways of doing it mate haha
  3. FSi injects direct into the cylinders at high pressure, your pic looks like they inject into the manifold. If all VAG FSI engines suffer with carbon build up like the B7 RS4 and the R8, your better off without.
  4. I couldve sworn they were FSI but they don't appear to be going by the picture going by the position of the injectors.
  5. Yep, non genuine are crap. I had a brand new one that read nothing like the actual temp it shouldve
  6. MAF, lambda, blue temp sensor. All 3 can sometimes be dodgy and not show a code. MAF and temp sensor are the main culprits
  7. Celis rings and everything? Sweet! best mk3 lights ever!
  8. Abs light will reset once fixed above a certain speed I had several abs faults and each time it was a chaffed sensor cable
  9. I'd go for that one aswell, it's bigger than most but has loads of features
  10. Get ready for insane quotes!! When I was 25 I got quoted £3k on a 260bhp charged VR with an agreed value of £8000 and a TS10
  11. I bought an impact wrench specifically for this job and swapping charger pulleys after destroying my two front struts because of seized nuts. Not something you use alot, but your sold glad to have one when you really need it!
  12. Did you repair the Hella's or are they new ones?
  13. http://www.ross-tech.com/vag-com/cars/Non-Immo-cluster-swapping.html This may only work on brand new clocks!!!! Do it at your own risk
  14. Schricks for NA, Schimmel 263s are designed for forced induction but are also good NA Tried an tested and always work well
  15. I don't like BMWs either, clueless why, maybe because all the low level ones are lame and the performance ones are driven by douche bags. My dad loves them, he's got a red 325 sport auto at the moment, it's the most gutless heap I've ever driven
  16. People can't wait to get them off S4's because they are iffy. Some go the distance, but alot fail after small undiagnosed boost leaks, causing them to over spin (throttle body boots, f-pipes and N75 valves are notorious for leaking) They seem to be fine on completely standard cars with 5-7k oil changes early on, but alot have lived on Audis retarded longlife service plan of 15k! The second you start tweaking they start failing, normally the first sign is a whistle/whine. Most people buy S4s with the intention of fitting KO4s fast but because it's an engine out job it's quite often left longer
  17. There was a bloke selling factory refurbed Paslodes on eBay back along, my bro in law bought 2 for doing loft conversions. Pretty cheap, bare ones where stupid cheap if you've already got batteries
