  1. I'm booked. Get in there quick mate. Last few rooms left apperantly. I got a smoking room, not my first choice. But I'll make the best of it ;-)
  2. Got me chip ordered :-) Should be good, but I'll hold you responsible if it isn't ;-) At Inters, I commented on how well your loom was looking and you told me it had been rewrapped with self amalgam. Had it been done before you got her? TG
  3. Yes, as long as you promise to stop SHOUTING. Tighening the head bolts should be done in four stages. 40Nm 60Nm 1/4 turn 1/4 turn And obviously you should use new bolts. Did it give any clues before it snapped? TG
  4. Found the link. I was wrong. 14000 is the rough number of total worldwide sales. And the UK > US + DE was just pure fantasy. TG
  5. I'm think I read recently, can't remember where otherwise I'd check, that the UK had more then the States and Germany combined with around 14,000. Which does seem alot to me compared to the number of VRs they sold in twice as long. I wish I could remember the site so I can blame someone else if it's wrong. For sure they'd have been imported, VW doesn't have a UK factory. TG
  6. Great news Pete, I may be needing it to find out which ABS sensor is playing up. TG
  7. Physically, I think they might. However if they are not from a VR6 Corrado the front ones won't be suitable. The VR6 is a heavy old block. TG
  8. No! Like most things it depends if it's OBDI or OBDII and a 1994 is on the cusp so could have either engine type. Either way it's located behind, a sliding, panel behind the ashtray; OBDI ports only have four connectros, OBDII more. TG
  9. I would say 021 133 202F for an OBDI & 021 133 202K for an OBDII Might be wrong as I'm new to this EKTA stuff. TG
  10. It is easy enough to bridge out the heater matrix using some plumbers copper piping shaped into a U. Not the most ideal solution at this time of year, but at least she will run. Mine's coming up to it's second winter like that, brrr... Just be carful not to leave the hoses too bent, twisted or constricted otherwise it'll over pressurize. TG
  11. I'm keen, but I'm going to wait until 30 RR day deposits get paid before I book the hotel. TG
  12. The Hella Cellis do work with electrical tilt adjustment. Dunno about FKs They don't come in smoked :-( And in fact don't come in anything these days as they'be been discontinued according to GSF. TG
  13. Ouch! Glad I had a moment of clarity and decided I had better stuff to do then sit in a 'traffic jam' all day. Roll on the GTi Spring Fest. TG
  14. I'm tempted. The forecast is for perfect sprint weather. Might even got up for Flame And Thunder on Sat and stop over, although it seemed cold enough camping there last time. TG
  15. nope its: acording to that link' date=' im not keen on the interior [/quote'] That's the same picture. One has been PShoped with a UK plate and different wheels!
  16. How Fast! How Much! Think I'll stick to the PS2 version, at least I know my hardware will be up to the job.

    Kinky Sex

A man and a woman are sitting side by side at a bar getting really wasted. They are both really depressed. The man asks the woman why she's so down and she replies, "My husband left me because he said I was too kinky in bed." "What a coincidence!" he said, "My wife just left me. She said I was too kinky in bed too." So they start talking and they find that they have much in common so they decide to go to the woman's apartment and have kinky sex. When they arrive at her apartment, she tells him she needs a few minutes so she can slip into something more comfortable. She comes out of the bathroo
  18. That's strange, MultiMap has me getting OFF the M1 at 15A, heading down to Banbury / Buckingham and then West across country. Either way, I'd be happy to cruize with ya. Cough up your deposit though or else we won't be going anywhere :-( TG
  19. We got 'em in Cambridge and have had some similar incidents. As well as charging for damage to the bollard the council also charges to clean up of the oil spilt as the pole crashes through your sump! TG
