    i fink minis are gay! fine if you hair dress or do bluewater everyday but i wouldnt care if they were twice as fast as my VR6 i wouldnt give you a tenner for one! thats just my opinion though so dont shoot me! there a far better cars than that that can be bought for far less money that would anhialate a mini of any sort, any of the 80s or 90s 911 porkers for a start, anything from 5-20 grand for an older porsche and it will still be quicker and 100% a better car imo, even with a bit of rust

    lol he mailed me back! eventualy when his computer worked! his reply was "yes i do" my question was "do you mean £2,800" i may send another asking if he is still taking the p**s actually! a bit pricey for that one imo

    the only deviation i would go for as a second car is probably a Hemi V8 American muscle car of some sort, maybe a 60`s yank pick up! that would be cool and noisy , other than that it would have to be another VW of some sort, although in the main i dont like fords, i have always had a soft spot for the mk1 escort mexico or rs 2000 kermit green or orange, great looking little cars imo

    just take it to a garage and get someone to air gun them loose, a few miles drive with it just nipped on wont damage anything, and it will save you loads of agro swearing and sore knuckles!

    tbh i think the most popular set up atm is gonna be FK High sports or FK Konigsports other than those H&R are superb but very expensive, Koni and bilsteins are also great but top £££ your better to avoid AVO and some of the cheaper stuff imo i had 2 bad experiences with component failures! i have highsports only height adjustable on my Vr and can highly recomend them, the konigsports have height and rebound adjustment and are a bit dearer.

    i had no probs on the cat side, a few minor adjustments were needed on the over axle pipe though when i lowered it as it knocked a tiny bit on bends! the kit you get off jetex is the best i have ever had with an after market exhaust, once you have the centre section you can change back boxes as trends change too!

    i am sure a trip (expensive trip!) to one of the bhp gurus and apparantly you should be able to get one upto about 280 without too much trouble! i think they are a bit like the old golf rallye, a few tweeks here and there and they come alive!

    get a cheap mk2 gti or something that you dont need to fund the vr and have your cash on the hip ready to pounce when one comes up or someones circumstances change! you can often bag a bargain if your in the right place with ready cash!

    thats a mighty fine looking rado, like the rims a lot too, ASA wheeels i believe are made by BBS under licence so that cant be a bad thing!

    imo i wouldnt settle for a car i didnt want! vr`s are always coming up for sale, i hunted everywhere for mine as i wanted a mulberry highline in 5 door and manual! i saw about 30 come and go till i found the right one! sadly mine will be for sale shortly (it will be more than 2k though!) to make way for an R32, again my search for the "right" car in the right spec is ongoing at the minute, with pearl blue, full black konig leather and 5 doors in the requirements, i am gradually narrowing my search but so many have got grey interiors! eeerrrghh! or dealers are trying to charge stupid money! som

    i think that cheesy grin could be down to the "nabis" use! check those madi-gras beads and leaf emblems man! and those tittys look like some old rugby socks with sand in to me!

    as i read it, its given as 241 bhp for a mk4, its pretty impresive for a factory bhp on a vw, and they grip like fook to match the power!

    jetex is a quality fit and sound imo, mines behaved superbly and once red hot sounds the nuts! i went for the letterbox back tail pipe.

    anything is possible if you have the money! arch pulling is superb if its done properly! check on here with those who have it done, some garages seem to bastardise the car to achieve it, this is not necessary if the work is done with heat and sympathy you get a proper flared arch, not a cut and welded jobbie, you will still have to have paint work though
