    well my fpr breather pipe is dry, so i can rule that out! i don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing... still no closer to fixing the problem! reckon i'm gonna have to bite the bullet and buy a new hall sensor after all that's what came up on diagnostics. i don't get how it is broken though!?!     !lol I remember a few years back when they were all the rage, everytime I went out for a skate I was bombarded with the little feckers trying to do "tricks" on them and ruining my line. Why is it when a chav gets on one of those they become oblivious to the rest of the world (ie, other people, traffic...)! Katie

    Cheers Kong, will defo check that out tomorrow, sounds possible as you hear the fuel prime before starting but a drop in pressure could be the problem. I've already changed the fpr though and the problem's stayed the same, will check it out just to be sure! 8) Thanks, Katie

    Cleaned out the hall sensor (was pretty clean anyway), not made a difference, so I'm going to get a new one so that I can eliminate that as the problem! Anyone know where I can get one (cam timing G40/ hall sensor) at a good price? Thanks, Katie

    Accident damage fixed, thanks to hard graft by me and a big help from Petesvw (Thanks bud ). Got my new grille on and stuck an old script vw badge to it (what do youy think?). Just spent the entire morning cleaning and polishing, most rewarding! I'm loving having the VR back to it's former glory, smiling lots, Katie !lol
