    i like my jetex cat back (ehem!) system, it's not noisy unless given some grief, but it's 2.5" so i noticed a slight performance increase. as long as you go for an exhaust with the appropriate silencer boxes, you shouldn't sound like a charver going down the road! keeping it stealth, Kat

    i'm using magnecor leads...no problems, and baru spark plugs (made by bilstein) they are cheap plugs, but the best i've ever had.. they look just like bosch super 4s. i'd recommend them!

    yeah i went with a couple of mates, i enjoyed it! i got a raceland manifold, so i'm happy! it was nice to bump into ian (show and shine black mk2 s3), i haven't seen his car since the re-trim, it looks sweet! the air cooled lovers started to do my head in when i heard them slagging off all the water cooled styles that were there. believe it or not i'm quite partial to a really great looking camper or a smooth styled beetle, but alot of the guys there had tatty examples they seemed to think commanded some sort of respect!?! nevermind, the show season can only get better!

    i got an fse power boost valve for my 8v gti because it had problems with regulating fuel pressure so it was a quick fix, when i part ex'd it i took it off and put it on the vr. it made a huge difference to the 8 valves performance, but took alot of setting up to see an improvement on the vr. in the end i'm glad i've fitted it because of the improved responsiveness, but i wouldn't recommend spending big bucks on one because it's not worth the hassle. i got a much more impressive power gain from the de-cat pipe (which was cheaper!).

    the worst colour has to be that golf (not a VR) in the new pvw in their coverage of 'the 5th annual waterwagen's event'... mud style! Any colour VR6 is cool, because it's a VR6 and that makes it cool because i said so!! TVR6 is your VR house trained too?

    yeah, i know the feeling, it's time to get out of hibernation! i'll find out what time i'm going and see if anyone else replies to this thread, then let you know what i'm doing.... i'll deffinately be going though!!

    1.4 %-6 , then 2.0 8v !grr , now a proper car !lol ! taken along time ago, hence poor quality! Katie (glad to have a VR6!)

    Hi all, just got word of this years MUK festival at myerscough college, Bilsborrow, Preston on 16th April. It's never that big but if a few of us want to meet for the day, there's usually quite a few nice motors to look at (and some horrific ones!), with dj's and food and a couple of awards for the usual (best club stand, car of show ect..). It could be a laugh, and if enough of us want to meet, then I'll sort us getting a stand set up. Let me know what you think... Kat
