    the coolant is generally hot, so dont stic your fingers in there. Drain it and put some clean coolant in and run it, see if it gunks up again, if it does then its head rust....vw can sort this for u i think but itll cost a bit.

    anything over 200bhp on a n/a vr is modded, very well. . i mean thats 30bhp extra without a charger, pretty darn good. although odb 2 has m ore power as standard

    do like pete said, but i seriously would hook it up to diagnostics before buying it. period, without actually doing this, you're just poking around in thin air, it could be just about anything for a crap fuel filter to a shitted throttle body!

    i'd prefer your car with fk mk4 look + crystal repeaters fogs. I hate the glass of the original lights regardless if they are smoked .

    go for geniune if your not doing vented or grooved, always buy quality breaks, green stuff pads are quite good

    i'd like to see your alloys, mine are being delivered next monday...funny, on the same day as my charger, im in two minds, becuase i have to drive to derby for the day to get the charger installed, but i need to be here at home to take delivery of the wheels....where's a girlfriend when you need her?

    no n/a can do 13.57, even a 300bhp vr6 found it hard to get into the 13's and he had launch control and a shit load of other goodies too. we are just too heavy.

    can you post a pic of your engine bay i wanna see your supercharger. aquamist only opens up on full throttle and cools the mixture in order to stop preignition/detonation, so how does it add bhp (apart from you can run higher boost with same compression) this is my understanding.

    1.8t @ 180bhp should lose to a late odb 2 vr in good condition, vr is lighter and develops more power becuase of its enlarged tb although it isnt advertised im sure a stock odb 2 vr puts out a 180+bhp easily.

    fk doing anew set that looks like mk5...they are prolly thebest atm. tbh i wouldnt buy LHD, buy RHD m8.

    easy to do yourself, save yourself the hassle and get rear discs and slip new bearings in. invest in some copper grease and ensure you buy anti squeal springs, dont use your old ones...!!!
