  1. Is nobody from this forum going to this show? Seems a bit weird.
  2. Why would it not sell form the North? If someone is genuinely interested they would travel, for the right car at the right price. Just make sure your as honest as you can be when describing the car, so they can't pick faults when they come to view your car. So you don't waste your time and the other parties time.
  3. I got mine from this guy, http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Call-Roadhouse-on-08702-404171_W0QQsspagenameZADMEQ3aBQ3aEOIBSAQ3aUKQ3a45QQtZkm
  4. Very nice, What was the reason for the plumes of black smoke.
  5. What about trying that trick you do with the MAF display, as I'm sure you can set that to display the speed. And if that works I think you could eliminate the speed sensor.
  6. Could be a bad earth on the starter motor, quite common. Just rephrase that, when i say bad earth, on mine when it happened just after i bough the car. The earth wire on the starter motor had rusted off. So just replace the starter with a new, and all was fine.
  7. Rocker covers are all the same, except the rado ones are metal, so can be polished.
  8. Sounds like a right a set of jokers, have you got anywhere else to take it.
  9. It's probably bit to late but there was group buy on some Shimmel cams, at very good price. But if you had some spare cash, you could have the head re-built, not sure what sort of money we will be talking though.
  10. Are the fans coming on,as normal? Could be a faulty temp sensor, on the T-Stat housing.
  11. Sound like the master cylinder, have you done a brake fluid change recently or something.
  12. Contact Dlea on here, I think he charges something similar, and might be a bit closer to you as well
  13. Has anyone rebuilt the gear shift lever, i.e. new bushes and re-grease the moving parts. As I'm tempted to try it. As I want to shorten the gear stick down, but want to retain my original gear knob. So was going to buy a new stick and take it to an engineering shop to have it shortened and re-tapped for the original knob. And just replace all the plastic bushes at the same time.
  14. What about the 2 for the oil cooler? A picture of the pipe might help, as haven't got any samco's. So just random guessing. LOL
  15. But I would get your codes read again, and cleared to see if the parts you have replaced have sorted the first set of faults. I could clear your faults for you you, but you will have to take a drive up to me.
  16. I've disconnected my battery after I cleaned the TB to realign it, and it was fine. After i connected the battery, i just turned the ignition but didn't start the car for 5minutes. Then started and left on idle for another 5 minutes. And all was fine for me.
  17. Have you cleared the fault codes, and re-scanned a few days later to see if the original faults have gone. Is yours OBD2 car, as if it is you can disconnect the battery for about 10 mins , and re-connect. And TB should go back to it's default settings, and then re-adapt itself after a few hours of driving.
  18. It does sound expensive, i would ring around the specialist like the phirm, gwerks and stealth racing and see how much they would charge. And also ring the dealers to see how much a new auto box is.
  19. Just had to resize the pictures, as they were a little to big for the forum to handle. Car looks stunning by the way, can't wait to see that in real life
  20. Just ignore it, it's perfectly normal. On a hot day's and when giving it some it can quite easily reach between 106 - 109. If you do a search you will find load of answers on it.
  21. Park up, and have chat with some like minded people, and maybe beer or two, LOL It's just a local meet.
  22.
