As the title reads ,just thanks to all thats helped me on here and to the site workers for all your work. sadly my vr is up for grabs as ive just got an m3 , is it only me but i truly feel down about selling my vr seems part of me!!!! have a great new year peeps

been nearly a year and he still hasnt even returned my call,charged me £100 cash to change my oil and i supplied my own oil and filter,made a bad job of the abs pump ,left me in the crap with my handbrake light on constantly promised to sort as he knew mot was nearly due,ended up changing the abs pump myself took 15 mins not 2+ hrs like this qualified mechanic took, Cheeers Pat ,HIGHLY RECOMENDED....... NOT

hi all,well i got another abs pump and had it installed by somone well known on here and paid the guy and it still didnt fix the warning light and now ive also got handbrake warning on constantly,he told me that the abs pump code needs to be recoded he would do for me and since that ive been totally droped out by him ,he dont answer the phone or get back to my texts, you live and learn !!!!,i took it to a friend of a friends vw and audi specialist garage and he said you dont need to recode the pumps ??? so I wanna get another abs pump and have a friend do it at the garage the code i need is

just got a secondhand magnex back box real good condition delivered,and there seems to be a lot of crap rattling about inside got lots of grit out and bigish 50p size black things like carbon,is this normal for used back boxes if not i will send it back asap,dont wanna fit it a its broke. thanks

hi m8,if you have an obd2 then its the blue temp sensor ,located roughly behind the grill on the block,there is 3 different sensors in a row u want the blue one,ps make sure you get a rubber washer with the new sensor as the old ones can be a pain as they go out of shape, check gsf spares i think i paid about £8 for my sensor

sorry if this is in the wrong section, ive got a magnex twin 3'' pipe backbox coming my way and just wondered is it a straight swap for the original or what else iss need to make it fit, cheers

hi mate sounds to me like the onboard computer as my mk3 does this and when i have vag com connected it does it evey time imformation is sent or recieved,nothing to worry about tho

is there an automatic version of the 4mo as been looking everywhere,also whats the bhp&torque stats compared to the mk3 vr
